i have a black with charcoal 30th anniversary embroidered seats hardtop Z28 Camaro. i would like to trade this for a good running 4 wheeler. 2 stroke or 4-stroke, model or year doesnt matter too much as long as its in good condition and NOT in need of major repair! it was a 6 speed manual car. has 86,xxx miles on all stock parts. mods only have a small fraction of that (like 4,000 miles) the car is modified. it has.... BMR tubular k-member (with LT1 motor mount) and tubular lower a-arms (powder coated chevy orange) Global West Trac Link torque arm custom made aluminum hex tube double rod ended lower rear control arms. (super light and strong! trick looking too!) Spohn adjustable panhard bar (poly bushing body side, rod end on the rear end side) airbag in the passenger side rear spring new Walbro 255lph high pressure fuel pump in the tank. with hot wire too the alternator LS1 front brakes and spindles with newer rotors and pads. factory 10bolt rear with 3.42 gears and cross drilled rotors i think thats it on mods. i might be forgetting some smaller things the interior is in good shape. it is currently about 40% installed. basically the carpet, seats, some trim panels, console are the only thing that isnt. the dash and wheel and front interior stuff is. none of it is hacked up! and i have all pieces to put back in it! drivetrain is gone. no motor, no trans, no clutch mastercylinder (pedals are still in car), no computer. installing those 4 missing items and needed accesories plus a new battery (or charge this one) would put the car back on the road. other then that, the car has everything else. cooling system. brake system. power steering stuff, fuell system including rails etc. etc. i also have alot of extra parts that will go with the car as well. extra stock LT1 crank. shortblock with bad cam bearing. good alternator cold air intake with MAF other stuff. cosmetically its in good shape. no rust. no dents. there are scratches from sitting in the garage. these are on the drivers side rear quarter and door i will have lots of pictures in detail within the week. if you have any interest, let me know. dont be afraid to ask or offer, i'm a reasonable person i've owned the car since April 2001, bought it with 43,206 miles on the odometer Title in hand VIN# is; 2G1FP22P6V2104504 cash outright asking $2400 car is loacted in Springfield IL (central IL). would be a great start for a drag car or road racer!. thanks Steve

stick with yamaha!! a 450 is gonna hold its value better then a banshee in the long run. i couldnt even get $2500 for my '03 and its in great shape banshee IMO is more comfortable. all the 4 strokes i have ever ridden, the seats are like 2x4's. and i felt cramped on the controls (i'm 6-1) the EFI on the new Raptor is pretty sweet feature to have. ride anytime anywhere without worry! whatever ya do, stick with Yamaha!! :thumbsup:

dude, parts are everywhere for those! buy a DIY manual (Haynes or Chiltons) and do it yourself and save a buttload of cash. search EBAY, find a Dodge truck message board and search the classifieds... sounds to me like everything is just needing replaced. its not like you have to rebuild the motor or nothing.

reason i say find some used replacements to send off is so you have little or less down time. then just sell your cylinders too recoupe the cost of the ones you purchased. porting IMO should be left to the pros. not saying you cant do it but to eek every bit of power for your dollar spent, it is best to have a pro do them. plus, they will be more consistent across the board. domes, will depend on what elevation you are at and what kind of fuel you are willing too run all the time. the higher octane fuel you want to run, the more compression you can run (vice versa) my cousin SGT. hey Seth, stay safe "over there" find some used stock cylinders, send them off for porting (best bang for the buck). maybe some 30mm carbs or a 35/38 single conversion, adjustable timing plate, new HD clutch kit (will be needed), pick up a Noss or Pro Design cool head with 21 or 22cc domes. a +4 swinger would help out after porting.

race cut the front fenders! will help on the top end speed (less drag). dont worry about getting dirtier, there isnt much of a difference $1500 could have a stock shee moving pretty damn good!! i'd do what Ellison said. call up Jeff at F.A.S.T (search here) hes suppose to know what hes doing. btw, nice '03. i remember when mine looked like that

i just painted them with some VHT "Flameproof" high temp ceramic, aluminum color. 1 can each pipe, total of $16 my quad gets dirty and the pipes always end up looking like shit with dirt on'em

i have a guy who will powder coat (high temp) my T5's for $50 a pipe. is this a good price? this includes, sandblasting, prep and powder coat. does not include stingers or silencers. hes gonna do them in HT gloss black and the "T5" lettering in HT silver and the springs in silver also. so is $50 eac a decent price for quality work?
