  1. Here it is striaght from the instructions:
  2. I don't think those are gnarly's. They look more like SST's. Look here: http://www.fmfracing.com/products/catalog.aspx?CategoryID=99
  3. Alba's add "says" +2 not +2+1. I don't know. It looks like if I reverse the top arm it will be in the way of the shock. I looked at some pics of other bikes and the angled side of the arm is always in the front. In the watertight box on the front is a battery that powers my LED underlighting so when I stop at night in the dunes I don't get plowed into.

  9. How do you know which arm goes where? These arms have no zerks. These are alba rec. arms.
  10. I was told some of that might be due to having heavy weight tranny oil and it being cold out

    A-arms/shocks

Just got my alba kit yesterday. Read this topic: http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=72065
  12. Update #2 Got my stuff yesterday. Looks like it's all there. Going to put it on this weekend. I'll get some before and after pics then. It looks like you pay full price ($450) for the elka's and they discount the other stuff to get the $749 price. Here are some pics of the kit just out of the box:
  13. I just used a folded up rag stuffed in the gears. worked for me
  14. Those wheel spacers are a bad idea if you are doing any jumping. You can get some +2+1 arms pretty cheap. Also the spacers will increase bump steer a ton in front.
  15. I'd say minimum 300 main for pipes and pods at that alt. Whats the temp there?
  16. try switching the plug wires and see if the problem follows

  18. Update: last sunday I placed the order for the kit with black arms. They said the kit minus shocks(comming from Elka) would ship out on tuesday. Called them yesterday(So Cal to Nor Cal should be less than a week) Guess what they said "It looks like it hasn't gone out yet" And to top it off now their out of the extended brake lines so they couldn't ship it if they wanted to. Then they asked if I would just like to wait for the shocks and get it all at once. Like I have a choice. I then asked if once they get the shocks if they could overnight the order for the trouble. They said "It should only be a 2 day ship anyway so no." WTF Alba had the best prices for the parts I needed but their customer service sucks. I hope after I get my stuff I never have to deal with them again. Also about the chrome arms, They said the ones they ordered had acid in the arms from the plating process that was eating them from the inside out so they sent them all back. They said no more chrome for 6 to 8 months. Just had to vent and put it in black and white so when someone else searches they can be prepared. :verymad: ::
  19. I've heard 150psi is a rough limit for pump gas. Look at the bottom of this page: http://www.nossmachine.com/banshee_heads.htm
