  1. what elevation and temps? Reguardless 200 is small for a bike with aftermarket pipes.
  2. Sounds like not enough toe in or too little caster
  3. I take off the caps and lightly squeeze them with pliers so they are just out of round then screw them on. Never lost one yet. Also I would think locktite would be a bad idea. It's not conductive and could isolate the cap from the plug.
  4. Here's a pic I found of a modded star:
  5. Final Update Here are some pics of the final installation. I rode it today for the first time. It looks and rides great. Way more stabil. Thanks for all the help everyone
  6. less preload will lower it. i.e take tension off the spring to lower
  7. They would be very very stiff but would fit
  8. Still $295 http://www.ngk.com/results_cross.asp?pid=91101&s=10
  9. :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: Ya he's very young
  10. A backfire is most likely lean. I would check for air leaks
  11. It may run good but it won't run for long. Jet it up to toomey's specs if not higher
  12. I disagree never had any problems with my 97. The only advantage to an aftermarket one is some are higher output. (i.e more lights)
  13. Could just be mis-adjusted floats also.
  14. Looks like this one: http://www.magicracing.com/Pro-Aluminum-V-..._p_116-647.html
  15. 220-230 main stock needle and pilot
  16. Thats why you burned it down. I would go with the suggested 320 and 27.5 pilot. The pilot screws out with a small flat head
  17. My boots have saved me more than once
  18. I would also check the water pump impeller and bearing. The stock impellers are plastic and can break
  19. The pilot and screw only effect idle to 1/8 throttle. Out on the screw is more air in is less air,(at idle-1/8) Try 1-1 1/2 turns out from lightly seated all the way in.
