  1. I thought you had to run a resistor plug or factory plug boots with the resistor built in or you will fry the CDI box
  2. I would try some 300 mains and some stock 25 pilots. 8 sizes for pipes = 280 1 size for snorkel = 10 1 size for airbox lid = 10 ------------------------------------- 300 main lower needle clip 1 clip for the reeds
  3. This will be way lean on the needle. I would try the forth notch from the blunt end.
  4. http://www.nossmachine.com/banshee_heads.htm About halfway down the page is a compression chart
  5. I use Motul 800 @ 40:1 seems to work good
  6. make sure you use plenty of lube on the seal..
  7. look at the microfiche again under shift shaft. It's part #7 #93102-I 2106-00
  8. Here: http://www.uppracing.com/index.php?cid=94
  9. Are you sure ? The banshee microfiche doesn't show one.
  10. I ripped the reed block gasket when installing the reed blocks but replaced both of them to be sure. Should there be a gasket between the intake and reed block ?
  11. What size mains and which way to move the needle clip?
  12. About 3 months ago I bought my first banshee. It's a 97 that was bone stock, even stock tires. When I bought it it would run but leaked gas from the overflows so I ordered 2 kits and rebuilt the carbs using the new needles, needle jets and removed the tors. At the same time I added carbon tech reeds and a proflow w/K&N in the factory air box with lid and snorkel. The problem is now at mid throttle only under lite load it will backfire out of the right side. Plugs look the same from side to side. Needle clip is in the stock location and mains are 200. Help!!
