Does anyone know if the Raptor 700 a arms are the same as the YFZ450's.

1.5L or 1500ml. Make sure you put it in the rt side. The clutch is on the rt and the the flywheel is on the lt side of the engine. Good Luck!

Check your wires that run from the cdi at the rear of the quad, especially where they run next to the exhaust pipe. If the pipe melted through the wire insulation and is grounding out the wire it could cause the popping. iF you had your flywheel off recently check that and make sure the nut didn't back off.

Spray soapy water on it and you'll find the leak. If it has small holes, slime works good.

Sorry to here about your bike blowing up. Might want to check your coolhead orings, maybe you pinched one during install. I had it happen to me once out at dummont.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the purpose of the overflow bottle is to give the hot radiator fluid a place to go when the temperature rises and as it cools it gets sucked back into the radiator. If you removed the overflow I guess you will have to check it more often.

If you could send me some info Rabbit857. We first sanded the plastics with 320 paper and then cleaned with grease and wax remover. As for the paint we used 1. Plastic adhesion promoter 2. Urethane primer/sealer 3. Nason (dupont base coat) 4. Imron Clearcoat

The stockers all get discolored and brittle. You made the right move and bought a billet impeller. Good luck

Pull your filters off and see if your slides are sticking. If not check for an air leak with some carb cleaner or starting fluid around the boots and reeds. Just spray it around.

Pull your air filter off and squirt some 2 stroke fuel into the carbs. If it try's to start pull your carbs and clean them out (especially the pilot jets).

Could be the float sticking in the left carb. You can try switching plug wires from left to right to see if you have a bad coil. Did you try changing plugs?

Ditto on the red locktite and the impact gun. If the keyway id not buggered up too bad you can reuse it. I'd clean up the flywheel and reinstall to see if the stator is good.

We painted first with a silver metallic base coat then draped a spider web pattern piece of lace over the plastics and painted a metallic blue pulled the lace off and clear-coated. Here are some more pics

I would check the flywheel and see if the nut backed off or is loose and let the flywheel go out of time.

Did you try to bump start it when you were towing it back. You must be from Vegas.

CHECK THE FUSES ON THE STARTER RELAY. TURN THE KEY ON AND JUMP THE RELAY WITH A SCREWDRIVER OR HEAVY WIRE. IT COULD ALSO BE THE NUETRAL SWITCH, BRAKE SWITCH, CLUTCH SWITCH OR THE SHUTOFF SWITCH. IF YOU GET A CLICK WHEN YOU HIT THE START BUTTON IT COULD ALSO BE A BAD RELAY OR STARTER. TRY JUMPING THE RELAY FIRST.
