  1. get your self a Clymers repair manual cause they takeyou through step by step, BigRed also did a walk though on it to. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=56926
  2. that kicks ass! I've only seen that kinda thing 2x. one was an old desiel dump truck and the other was an ATC250R that the dude totally screwed the timing up on. kicked back like a mule and no forward gears but went like hell in reverse.
  3. where you out of?? might be able to pull a few stings and get permission. I can usually take a couple of people there with me w/ no problems. the "Big Guy" is kinda picky on who he lets ride there. was a few problems a while back and after the one garage got busted into and one of the dirtbikes got boosted thatlist got REAL SHORT!!
  4. if all goes as planned, I'll be at "the Farm". a private place owned by my brother's boss(friend of the family for many years).
  5. Don't know about the TCS's. I even checked a couple of places for specs, but no dice. But the Works are between 175 and 250 psi. http://199.238.154.44/pdf/instructions/gen...nstructions.pdf bottom of page 5
  6. Rocky mountain, Cascade, Alba I'd go to alba cause they even have "plastic" version for like $20. exactly the same as the ProDesign Aluminum one, just made of molded plastic.
  7. stockers don't have packing.
  8. In a nutshell: #1 drain your oil and coolant. I reccomend installing one of those EZ-drain waterpump covers and the aluminum impeller too while you got it off. #2 take off the kick start lever and the footpeg. #3 pull the whole clutch cover off. #4 remove the clutch assembly and you can get right at it.
  9. check Ebay, thats where I got both of mine. Their Id is "simplythat" and they are actually Tudor Racing Products, the maker of the Shift-pro kit Shift Pro http://shiftpro.com Cascade has both parts http://www.cascadeinnovations.net/ under "Banshee Accessories & Performance", then under "Shift Mods"
  10. http://www.barnettclutches.com/products/of...rod_make=Yamaha
  11. here's the link to their site http://www.motosportalloys.com/ I just notice them carrying them the other day. I'd like to have a couple of sets myself but I'd trash them where I ride. Lots of stick and stones.
  12. I got one. True story too. I hate when a bunch of ya get together and go riding and one of them is running late. no biggie. when he shows, he's brought a friend ( later you find he's a brother's friend's cousin's boyfriend) who has the sweetest looking BRAND NEW YFZ450 w/ EVERY perf part made on it and the biggest shit talking mouth in the world. finally take him out to ride and he runs into 4 people cause he can't drive to save his ass. Whines endlessly noone will wait for him to catch up or you cheating during drag races and pouts and stomps off in a huff cause "no one rides right". later you find out he's only been riding less that a year, wrecked at least 5 or 6 bike in that time, mommy and daddy buy his toys for him(they have BIG $$$), and he's been kicked out of every place he's gone riding cause he's nearly killed some one or sits in the way and whines went he dont get his way( ie. spoiled brat.)
  13. Here's what you get in the Shift-Pro kit. New softer, lighter spring and a a new retainer arm w/ a wide roller bearing. replaces the super stiff stock spring and the retainer arm w/ the wimpy washer riveted to it. add in a modded shift star and it shits like butter. go that set-up in my '01 and just haven't gotten around to doing it o the '06 yet
  14. heres a pix I put up the other day from one I just did. this it about what you looking for.
  15. oh damn!! now I'm gonna wake up at like 3:00 in the morning and go "bwaahh" and get that full body shiver. god, my poor eyes.
  16. they are for the right side. every set I've ever see for any quad always ran the lines on the back side for protection and clearance reasons.
  17. do a search. they've been discussed several times, so might find the info your looking for.
  18. W/ some customizing, yes. straight out of the box, no. BTW: turn off you caps key. makes it look like your screaming at us.
  19. yup, lives about 20 minutes from me. but Jersey isn't far from where we are. about an hour and a half if that. keeps wanting to trade me his YZ for one of mine.
  20. I know someone who might be interested. I'll check w/ him.
  21. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasen't there a problem with that character awhile back w/ him ripping other people off. the name just sounds so familiar.
