detonation probably would cause that its like hitting ur piston with a hammer, detonation can happen at any rpm yes by a lean mixture, carbon, timing, and squish
wow crazy so im guessing it makes it more like a direct drive trannsmission making more gear contact.. can u modify a stock drum, are they the same length?
 nice keyless entry thats a clean Titan, that Ranger is badass too i want to do the 302 swap with my old 4wheel drive i went by sum salvage yards and found sum cheap deals on decent motors i think i can do it for about $1200
one of my instructors was telling me BMW sumtimes does`nt use any oil in the motor to set there rings it sets them like instantly, i thought that was pretty cool
WHY!?? How dare YOU!! People have there preferences, but synthetic oils have a higher film strength, which means it can divide the film to a thinner layer so it creeps around in tight spaces like around the rings which of course u want that contact when breaking in the bike
* and yea it smells good
the piston hit the top of the head wtf ur guys are retarded,.. no looks like u have sum detonation issues, and probly a bad bearing from either rod end, if u have a dial gauge check the crank runout and post ur largest piston to cylinder clearance
i kno what ur talking about i think its just something the bike does after just being old its just premix being pushed around the threads i would think and dirt gets in it and makes it look sh*tty, i dont think there is a fix for it besides a new head.. maybe try sum better lock washers or sumthing
o i blew through ur post, ur using Anti-freeze u need coolant the T if i remember right is just crankase vent it should be going straight from the radiator top to the overflow
well if it was a seal problem like said u could see it in ur oil and that would cause a loss in fluid. The charging and ingnition system shouldnt have an effect. this is weird.. is the head nuts all torqued to spec? is it smoking more than normal?
