The crossover tube is needed to regulated pressure between carbs i dont think a "boost Bottle" would do much good on a low HP bike but on a higher HP bike it would be more useful to regulate alot more pressure..

no the 87 wiring harness wont fit all years i think the later 90s fit all the newer models as for purchasing a aftermarket or stock harness i see em on ebay all the time thats about it.. i modified and re-did mine

Does it matter which piston goes where?
FasterThanU90 replied to Rebel3190's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
When havin Cyl. Bored out to the next size say u get pistons for a .20 bore out of the box there not gonna be exactly the .20 over bore that was done on your Cyl. yah thell work but to get the best performance/top end life like Tyler & Blueshee brought up, a good shop will match the pistons to the bore size and thats why theyd be marked -

Rght side cylinder problems
FasterThanU90 replied to ghostryder420's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
unless u already have try riching up the air fuel screw on the side of the carbs its a brass screw the only reason it should be backfiring is because its too lean no if u had a compression problem it wouldnt stay the same throughout the RPM range at higher rpm it would have more compression because the rings are being pushed harder against the cyl. walls creating a better seal. -
lifes crazy like that i feel for you guys my buddy tom that ive grown up with for most of my teenage life hes practicly my brother hes always been a hard worker and worked hard enough to even own 3 cars b4 he was 18 im not talking about rolls royces or anything but decent vehicles most teenagers dont even have the ambition to reach the remote on the side of the couch well ne ways hes been workin to get his pilots liscence for a while and he finnaly got a job at the local airport fueling planes tryin to meet people and make a name for himself well we used to always joke around about fires and the truck blowin up u kno just BS stuff between buds well i get a call at about 2 in the mornin from his dad and hes in the hospital severly burned ... the truck went up on him it splashed over the cab onto the hood and into the engine and BOOOM! the cab went up and this is jet fuel guys and gals he was in a coma for 2 weeks almost half his body has 3rd degree burns its a nightmare if i can still find the newspaper page id post it but hes been getting treatment for months now and is looking better but "shit happens" quick b4 u kno it... but u cant live life always watchin ur back he`ll probbly end up gettin a few mill and he`s gettin workmans comp for the rest of his life maybe all that hard work paid off.. in a harsh wierd way

"Birth control is always a good idea, a professional can help you and her with that as well" Yah thats what the appointment was for in the first place it would be pretty ironic if she got pregnant while we were waiting for birth control... :baseball_getlost:

im a little late on the subject but that's funny that this came up right now im 17 and my Gf is 16 and me and her have really been discussing this subject because shes 2 weeks late financially im not ready to have a kid and not in the right position but if she was/is pregnant i think we could handle it yah its a very big responsibility but i strongly believe in "shit happens for a reason" alot of society's youth these days are having kids younger and younger abortion is your guys` discission but its is a very powerful touchy subject birth is a gift and i think ull regret not havng it and it will always be ther in ur mind that "what if" and that special first unborn child that u could have had, i dont kno what kind of person u are but i couldnt live with that guilt plus there gonna stick a vaccum up there and suck her brains out it not a very pretty situation and could even harm her bodily functions oh and my GF took a test the other mornin and it turned up negative but shes still late.... were goin to a professional soon and shes gettin retested hopefully everything will turn for the better...

Im not a nitrous pro but ill give u as much info as i kno yah its button/switch activated if i was using nos probly bottom of 5th gear in a longer run do u have a weld on ur crank? that would be needed. Dont run it through your carbs run it through the intake manifold into ur reeds but dont use carbon fiber reeds unless u plan on replacing them frequently the frayed ends of the carbon fiber reeds atomize the air fuel alot better but wear and damage very quickly expecially VF3`s heard most people only get 1 run out of them more runs out of the 2s, stock reeds work the best all this reed info ive read across other forums mostly Planetsand
-
id take a look at em and while ur in there flip em around and thell be like new again for a while but u should be all good the reeds that we`ve had in our 92 are stock and hav`nt shown any signs if wear i just flipped them around for the hell of it last week

"Here's my best guess: Cylinders: $850.00 Crank: Probably around $600 or so, just guessing. Porting: ????????? Cool Head w/ Big Bore Domes: $350.00 Pistons: $300.00? Bigger Carbs: $350.00 Seals, Gaskets, etc.: ??????? It's gonna run ya close to $2000.00 I'd think" +heavy clutch -100 +intakes for bigger carbs/reed spacers to clear clutch arm/Filters outerwears - 135+ +longer swinger like stated above - 300+ +timing plate highly suggested- 35 +crank weld highly suggested - ?
-
u should have ur crank welded and i wouldnt reccomend using VF3`s with nitrous unless u plan on replacing them after the first run
