take a flat table throw down sum sand paper and sand the head so its flush and throw it together u should be fine problly wont notice any difference. As for the carbs do u feel like ur lacking power should be fine with the 28s

are u open too graphics kits ? they make a hell of a difference

do a search to get better info but mostly just accelerate and fully decelarate dont go above 4th for a little while its better to breakin a bike in a small hilly area works really good in the woops or on a track just let it warm up to the touch and kick it into gear and go the first couple hours are the most important to seat the rings just keep snapping the throttle at diff rpm get it up to about 3rd then kick down the gears let the motor decelerat not the brakes and it will blow out all the crap the wears off the rings keep acc. dec. stay at diff RPMs and after the day drain ur oil do this about after 3 times of taking it out and ur good to go get a comp. gauge too take a measurment when u first start it when the gauge starts goin down and it stays at a consistent pressure ur break in is over

yah ur slides are probably backwards .... sounds pretty obvious with the symptoms ur explaining get down on the right side of ur bike open the throttle fully and u should see a half circle in the window on the sides of ur carbs dont keep tryin to start ur shee till u resolve this prob ur gonna end up having a bad break in on ur new top end..

my cub is set up for pump gas and was considering running sum 112 my timing is at +4 how much can i advance it with the 112?

yah u can run higher octane gas no prob it just allows u to run more of an advance on ur timing and for motors with higher compression

the hp is about the same till u get into the bigger strokes like 10mm +

those hills id hit in 2nd usually longer dunes/hills ill end up havn to shift into 3rd if u start to lose power just dowshift but u probly already knew that , i hope..
