Hey, Sorry I missed ya up in MI @ Bobs. I was bummed that the races were cancelled as well that day !! Did you get the mounts I left for you to check out ??
  2. He has been busy training his "race" dogs, He now has four, and hoping for a national championship.
  3. HMMMMMMMM, no takers yet huh?!?!? Those 10 mils dont like getting whipped by a 'baby ' 4 mil
  4. How about a "flash back" ???
  5. lots of things could make it do that such as bad reed valves, bad crank seal, carbs need a good cleaning, air leak
  6. What he said^ 580-824-2021
  7. yeah, your right there..... By the way, Its Morgan and coke here............. lots of it too, with a slice of lemon too !!!LOL I am confident about what I said, or I wouldnt have said it, As we always say down here, " bring it, dont sing it " !! Hopefully I`ll get out to the track and chat with you all
  8. O.K., I am calling out any 10 mil Naturally aspired , no NOS bike for a 300` drag. Seems as though there are too many peaple that think, OHHHH its just a 4 mil. I have NOT lost a race to a 10 mil yet, run faster times ( with a FAT guy on it) than any 10 I have seen yet. Every track is different as times go, some are really fast, and some arent as fast. The tracks we race at are not fast tracks, yet still run consistant 4.0`s in 300`, now If I put a lightweight jockey on it, Its gonna be faster. Not to mention I havent even messed with the gearing , There is still more in it, just need to play with the gearing some.
  9. Maybe you need to put it in cold weather !!!! LOL ( It is a snow MO ) J/K !!! Snow, Its very hard to say, have you had the carbs apart to be sure they are clean. Like the floats arent stuck ???
  10. Here we go again, Everybody has their own opinion and preference. Do a search you can see what I am talking about. Personally, I use Klotz, and Type F tranny fluid. But I also run alky, and have a lock up with a high HP motor. Again, age old contriversy
  11. drains the alky from tank ( which has to be done anyway to prevent moisture in tank) then put in the premix, flush out motor, and drain again. Its really simple, works for me. However, someone having to add another bung and shut off would spend more than the 65 bucks for this. I just happened to have mine made before installing the tank
  12. I have never had a problem "starting" my bike on alky !?!?!! hmmmmm. I just have a second bung in my aluminum tankl with a shut off, works for me
  13. Sent you a pm !!!!!
  14. NO, thats what everyone says to do, But If you remember the huge controversy with Charlie O. about a chassis deal that went sour ?!!?!?, That was a buddy of mine, and I was in the middle of it. From that point on, I swore I wouldnt ever go back, nor attend his race events. I hold to my word.......
  15. Damn, Seems I cant give it away
  16. O.K smart ass, Some have tried to be polite and say show the proof of the two degree advance in timing. Simply put, your timing is NOT gonna advance with a plug change. You may get an increase in hp. ( minimal if any) but not enough that your gonna feel the difference. You may have done something as simply as had a different gap on the "new" verses " old" plugs and that showed a difference in hp on a dyno. There again, a dyno reading isnt shit, Rider ability is the better part of racing. As for the two degree difference, Any of us who REALLY race dont care about the two degree`s by only a plug change. We look for consistancy, and are always working on our own bikes anyway ( changing the timing, With a PLATE). Most of us have more $$ into the motor than others have in their whole bike, SO the proven and tried plugs are the way to go. BR9ES. Peace out
  17. I`ll let ya know if I do. But I really doubt that I am gonna do that though. I have been asked to by several peaple, I have given it some thought, and dont plan on doing that. The set up is already a winning combination ( chassis, motor), running real good numbers with a fat guy on it.
  18. Exactly, the guy claims he hit the "buy it now" button on accident.. We all know thats BULLSHIT, because you have to confirm what you are doing on the next page of egay. I sent you a pm also
  19. O.K., last time. I will keep the bike and let it rust out before I totally give it away.
  20. Or try this 580-824-2021
  21. As long as you went this far a billet water pump impellar would be wise, If you dont already have one.
  22. Yep, all the above, or TDR has them in stock also. I believe the last time I ordered through him they were like 180.00 overnighted to my door though.
  23. Depends on what the motor is, Stock or after market cylinders.
  24. Agreed!!!!!!!
  25. Thats about the same as he told me . I never been to the dunes, So I have mine @ +10 all along. My gearing is 15/39 with a stock flywheel Launching hard still, I could probably get away with dropping the back, or jumping up on the front 1 tooth. I have never seen your bike, so I cant say foresure that it will hurt you. In my case it did, BUT I also have a streyched ridgid chassis W/ bar. I say anything is worth a try !!!! Nate knows his shit, I trust his judgement 100%. I never thought I would be hitting 4.0`s.
