  1. Well they're 2 different types of cars. The Lexus is a nice luxury car that has some get up and go to it. But its not meant to be a sports car, and doesn't pretend to be. The Dodge is supposed to be sports sedan, and is meant to go quick. But other than strict performance, its no comparison. The Lexus is a better car all the way around. More features, better built, much more comfortable. A friend of mine has used his mothers ls 430 on a few trips before, and Ive ridden with him. Nice car. No question in my mind between the 2, get the lexus. But also think, do you want a sports car, or a sedan?
  2. Too much money for too little gain. Im sure their great, but they are carbs. I don't have money to throw away, so I'll get PWKs, and save a few hundred bucks.
  3. Dark metallic green frame.
  4. Yeah, but the powernow thing is advertised to give you horsepower at mid throttle positions (nothing at WOT). Someone from the company was on bt a while back trying to pawn them off on people. I never figured it out though. If you want more power when you're only partially on the throttle, then why not just give it more throttle? Either way, they're worthless, save your money.
  5. I know he's using Roll but thats all I know, he posts over at atvscene.com . As far as everything else, he can't say until the new year due to his contracts.
  6. And last I heard he hadn't said what all he would be riding. Roll Design front end, but he didn't say any more than that. We'll see though.
  7. Plastic no, pretty much anything else, yes. And just wondering, but why is every word capitalized?
  8. Yes. It will be close, but yes.
  9. It should fit in anything thats fairly new. Mine fits in my 93 toyota, its a really tight fit, but it makes it. If I didn't have the toolbox, I could close the tailgate too. Unless you have extended a-arms, I wouldn't worry about it. Even then you could lift the front end over the wheel wells.
  10. Hell yeah, fever of 102 and Im ready to sleep all day tomorrow!! Damn tonsilitis!! Oh well, at least I know I'll get all the leftovers.
  11. Im pretty sure you have to pay the fee no matter what.
  12. Well, several hours later its still up, maybe eBay read this thread, and decided we had a good idea. Make him pay the charges after we get the price sky high
  13. First things first, let us know your budget. You can nearly get as much hp out of these things as you want. It just depends on how much money you have. That and where you ride, a 90 hp banshee might not be that great if you ride in the woods.
  14. DeRisi is the only one I know of off the top of my head. Someone on here does a good job from what Ive heard (shane?). The reason is Works valving system, is a check ball orifice system (unless they've changed). Doesn't work as well as the shim stacks that everyone else uses.
  15. Copper maybe? I know the hardware store here has nylon squares that you can punch out washers/gaskets out of. Thats worked for similar situations for me in the past.
  16. Wow, that is so true. The more I read, the more I thought someone had been spying on me all these years.. Another thing the drill press is great at: taking that freshly cut piece of aluminum your trying to turn into a grill, and turning it into the spinning square of death. Which attempts and nearly succeeds at cutting off four fingers of your hand.
  17. http://www.laegerracing.com/ And a good aftermarket frame is waaay more than $1200
  18. Send them to anyone besides works. Trust me, they will be 10 times better.
  19. Thats the Challenger, not the Charger. And don't worry, the concept of the Charger looked bad ass, but well, you can see what we ended up with. I have a feeling the same thing will happen with the Challenger, it will be a 2 door look-alike of the Charger, which means it will look like everything else dodge makes. But the concept does look awesome, and it would be great if it actually came out looking like that.
  20. First off, stupid questions get stupid answers. Period. Second, I've come to believe that the reason this forums hasn't turned into exriders or bt or others, is because all the morons that come on here asking stupid questions get flamed. And I like that, all the stupid people that we don't need or want, generally get pissed off and don't come back. Now for people that have legitimate questions and really need help, Im all for answering. But if you can't figure out the proper way to ride a 2 stroke, then you shouldn't be on one. And to answer your question, even when you're cruising stay on the pipe, the engine is most efficient there, and you'll get the best mileage. You stay at low rpms, and the pipe isn't scavenging effectively, and you're wasting a gas.
  21. Good write up ^^. If you want to read more about shock's, go to Custom Axis website, they have a tech manual there that gives a good read on suspension. Also has the diagrams of their shocks, showing how they work.
  22. So far I've searched and searched all over, and while the topic has come up, nobody ever can come up with a good (or real) reason not to use AV gas, that Ive seen anyways. Some people say its not consistant, which isn't true. Others say it will make the engine run too hot, but can't come up with a reason why. Who knows. I figure I might go up to the airport when I get my engine back together and see what the people there know.
  23. http://www.pkselective.com/ you could also try http://www.aplusanodizing.com/ I don't know if A+ will do stuff other than paintball guns, but Im pretty sure they would. Both places can do amazing things with anno, the fades, finishes, color combinations are endless.
  24. Damn you!! The rebound is in the shaft. It basically provides bypass of the shim stack for the rebound stroke, that you can adjust. The valving is still the same, you just have a bypass around that shim stack.
