Yeah, but its so much more satisfying to hit them for half a second, but still cover them with about 6 shots. Heres a pic of my old matrix (if it works, my university account is gone)
-
So you can sit here and tell us that back in 6th grade you didn't have a crush on some cute little blonde girl, but you wanted that one boy that was bigger than the rest and hit puberty early? Its all psychological, its not genetic. And also how can you even claim to believe in the bible, and then want to screw guys? Do you believe everything except the part saying you shouldn't be gay? Or do you believe, but think that you will be saved anyways?

Oh yeah, they still spin, but they aren't spinning fast enough to get the gyroscopic effect that you get with bullets. I can't remember exact numbers, but for the paintball to get stabilization from the spin, its got to be spinning several thousand rpm. Personally I like Dye barrels, nice and quiet, and they have different size backs.
-
The barrel only matters so much as it matches the paint. All of them are honed aluminum tubes, and they are all straight. If you have paint that fits your barrel, then you have the most accurate barrel. And while the rifling sounds like a good idea, it doesn't work in paintball. The balls are too big, and traveling too slow to impart enough spin for it to work like a rifle. Tom Kaye of Airgun Designs did alot of research back in the early days of paintball, and rifled barrels was one of the things he disproved for paintball. The upside of them though is they tend to be a little more forgiving on your paint to barrel match, so they aren't completely useless.
-
Yeah, Id thought about that idea too. But if you're just choosing one so on the off chance it might be right, how do you know which one to choose? Hell, what if hinduism is right (thats the reincarnation one right?). Then every single one of us is coming back as a dung beetle Hey, maybe in the next life, there will be an HQ pile of crap that we'll all meet each other on.

I used to play, although I couldn't afford the banshee and paintball so paintball went. Had a Matrix when I quit. Damn nice gun too. Quiet as hell, didn't kick at all, and was accurate as hell. I have 2 good friends that still play, on professional teams. The one plays for Femme Fatale. I only wish I had the money to play on a national circuit like that.

has any ever heard of HYDRO DYNAMIC
dawarriorman replied to kazaa187's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Im not sure of their website, but I know that if you type in Hydrodynamics USA into google, you will get it. That said, while I haven't seen them in person, those are the a-arms that I will get when I get some. One of the guys designing and building them was over on atvriders (no I don't know why I was over there). Very knowlegdeable guy, and the a-arms are top notch. Laegers (I believe) ball joints, no heims. The shocks are single rate although I think they're progressive, so that equals out. They aren't really meant for racing, they will eventually come out with a line of shocks for that. The shocks are meant for recreation (hard recreation). Im going to get they're arms, but TCS shocks. -
Don't listen to those fools. Heres the link in case you were wondering http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/thr/chart...ice/top_ten.jsp

Well, Im not too surprised that this thread turned into a debate on organized religion. I'll throw in my 2 cents just for fun too. Personally, I believe in some sort of God, although the bible is a book written by man with agendas. Then translated by more men with different agendas. They included what they wanted to include, and left out what they wanted to to serve their own purposes. Anyone that takes it as THE manual for how to live their life is ignorant IMO. Now I've studied quite a bit of physics, and thats one of the things that might keep me believing that there is something out there. Most physicists believe in some sort of higher being, simply because the more they understand the universe, the more complex they realize it is. Maybe its not a god, but simply beings that have evolved beyond our wildest imagination. Who knows, but everything had to come from somewhere, so where did it come from? The big bang simply is a theory on how everything got where it is, but everything was already there for the big bang to work. Believe in what you want though, thats one of the few freedoms that can't be taken from you. Oh, and to add something about the queer cowboy movie, heres the box office stats for it from this past weekend: Days in theaters: 31 Total theaters: 483 (up 214 from last week) Average per theater: $11,856 (so high because its in so few theaters) Total gross sales: $22,436,190 Hahahaha, its been out for a month, and has only totaled 22 million, yeah, thats one hell of a movie alright.

Well, I already gave up cigarettes a few months ago. So I guess my resolution will be not to get another hangover like I did on New Years. I drank a case by myself, and I don't know how much rum, but lets just say I still had a headache on the 2nd. But from what Ive been told, I had a shitload of fun New Years eve though.

Just make sure you get a QUAD powerband whatever you do. I made the stupid mistake of getting a red cr500 powerband a while back, and blew my muffler bearings all to shit. Let me tell you, that sucked.

Hahaha, ive heard that one before, but its still funny. Heres one I heard on the radio the other day. 3 gay men were sitting together talking one afternoon after they all had just lost their partners the previous day in a tragic accident. They were reminiscing about they're lost lovers, when they got on the subject of what they were going to do with they're partners remains. The first one said, " Peter was an avid outdoorsmen who loved hiking, and camping and hunting. He generally just loved the outdoors. So Im going to go up to the top of a tall cliff in the mountains and scatter his ashes over the great outdoors." The second man said "Frank loved the water alot. He was always fishing, driving his boat and going to the beach. He always dreamed about having a house on the ocean. So Im going to scatter his ashes out at sea" The third man thought for a second, then he added "You know Robert was the best lover I ever had. I can't imagine how anyone will ever be able to match up to him. So Im going to take his ashes and mix them in with a spicy pot of chili , eat the whole thing, and let him tear my ass up one last time"

If you've never even ridden a quad before, i would suggest something besides a banshee. Its not the easiest quad to learn on (ok, when I think about it, its probably the hardest). That being said, good luck on whatever you decide, and welcome.

won't start after sitting a few days

Mines always been like that. Ive messed with the floats who knows how much, with no success, but Ive managed to figure out how get around it. When you park, turn off the gas and let it run for minute.. When you go to start it again, turn on the gas, shake it to mix up the gas, then let it sit for a couple of minutes. Starts up first kick every time. -
If you have coolant leaking, its an o-ring problem somewhere. There shouldn't be any leaking no matter what nuts you use.

Oh, god, that stings. What am I going to do now? My life is ruined, you think my stereo sounds like shit. Heres an idea, grow up, and come back when you realize that Im right. -
Hmm, a can of black krylon fusion should make any set black.

Now that you mention it, since I got my motor back, I haven't noticed any more hair in the shower drain. -
Hey, its not too late for me to join in is it? Jeff is the man, he makes the bestest motors in the world. Im going so fast now Im ripping lugs off the tires and breaking peoples headlights with roost. He got it done in 10 minutes before the UPS guy had even left, and had it back in the mail right then. He's awesome. Ok now jeff, I need me a set of carbs. And a whole new clutch. Oh yeah, new impeller wouldn't hurt either. Thanks jeff. Edit: Seriously though, I haven't seen anybody try as hard to please his customers as Jeff does. Maybe other people can squeeze more hp out of their, maybe not. Maybe they can get it done quicker than him, although I doubt it. No matter what though, he hasn't done anything to deserve all this shit happening about him.

Thats what I've been thinking of getting, although spend the extra $10 bucks and get the 7075 bars. 7075 is about twice as strong as 6061 alloy. So its worth the extra money.

Ha, there as much bull in the poll as there is in the thread, its adding up to over 200% in the 70's [ 16 ] ** [114.29%] in the 80's [ 24 ] ** [171.43%] over 90?? [ 18 ] ** [128.57%]

If you only do it for yourself, they shouldn't be able to say anything. They wouldn't if they could. Now if you do it and start selling them, then yes they will have a problem. But I would be willing to bet that if you did all the work, and contacted them about it, they would work with you.
-
They can't rev because most people who have dynoed them so far have found that it falls flat on its face around 6 or 7 grand. Its making a ton of torque, but doing it at such low rpm, that its not near as fast as it should be. Now when they come out with some higher reving aftermarket cams, who knows, this thing may be a monster. I know there is one guy working on a supercharger kit with a procharger blower. I can't wait to see how that turns out. I would get the raptor just cuz Im sick of so many people thinking the yfz450 is gods gift to atvs, and can do no wrong. I still wouldnt mind having one though.

Hooray, you've won thread resurrection of the week ssjgoku419. I'll throw Motion Pro twist throttles out there.

anyone know how i should install my subs
dawarriorman replied to sweetshee4312's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Har har har, I have a bass tube. The only reason I don't have anything bigger is because I don't have money. But let me ask you, have you ever designed and built a double tuned bandpass box? Have you spent the time to measure the acoustic response of the vehicle you were putting it in before you designed it? Have you built a box that achieved a flat response curve IN THE VEHICLE from 26 hz up? I have. I used to build custom boxes for the audio store here in town. People that were into competition audio used boxes I designed and built. I know what Im talking about. You want to try and insult me go ahead. Im not going to aruge, but the fact is, using an amp that puts out less wattage than the RMS rating for the speaker your using will not in itself hurt it. Whether or not it will make it more likely for someone to blow the speaker on their own is something else. Amps don't make as much difference for subs as they do full range speakers, but yes its hard to beat a nice amp. The box is what makes a subwoofer though. And yeah, Rockford amps are hard to beat for the price. Most of them are underrated, and last I saw, a lot of them are 1 ohm capable.
