Thanks man! I think I found the fault. I did not grind any material off the bottom mount, so I think the shocks are not compressing!

I still have the stock arms on, so they will be more upright. I have not ridden her yet! Just concerned about how hard the shocks feel when sitting on her now. Was hoping that someone that has done the same mod can give me some insight!

Hi guys, please offer me some advice here. I fitted 450 shocks yesterday, they have been re valved to be softer and all the settings are at their softest. I have not ridden since the change, but when you sit on the shee, it does not move slightly up front! If you bush on the bars in front it does go down though. Surely it should not be this stiff!! Anyone out there have some advice please?

Greetings from South Africa guys! I can get a set of YFZ450 shocks for a fairly good price (ZAR1000). Just wanted to get your input on if it's worth it and also if they bolt straight up? If not, is it a massive story to make them fit?

Do you have any figures on what the change was? Also did you fit them yourself? If so, how difficult was it?

I use Toyota's coolant. It's pre mixed and it's for summer and winter. You should be able to get it over the parts counter. All the guys I know use it, including the pro racers.

What set up do most of you guys use? And with just a few mods can I run the same, I'm looking for more top end and less wheel spin?
