Hi guys, and girls! Just wanted to know how many of you out there ride dirt with no air box lid? After changing to dmc pipes I see they drilled my lid wide open. I called them up and they said it's to get more air in. Then the guy suggested I get a better air filter and remove the lid completely. My worry is that I ride in a lot of mud and water, surely that cannot be too good if it got in? Also, can someone explain to me what a boost bottle does and if it is worth it. I see they are fairly cheap, so if it gains a bit it would be worth it.

I want to start racing enduros and that sort of thing. At the moment we race in our group of about ten riders. It's a mix of four stroke and two stroke quads, but it's good fun. Of course the shee is always a good ten secs in front though!

I've had various bikes starting with the older 80's models. Currently driving a '04 GSXR1000, but still miss the low down grunt of the TLR. Would be great to have the twin and the I-4.

Things are going the same way in my country. Cops impounding quads at the slightest infringement. And we get bashed at pretty much every chance the papers get the chance! Sounds like you are getting off though!

I found out the other day what banshee is. According to Irish legend, it's a female spirit that if heard screaming, it would indicate death coming. Her screams are so high pitched that it would shatter glass. ( I suppose it's the exhaust note or something)? Maybe I should put a "I see dead people" sticker on my bike!
