My carbs were rebuilt not too long back and I must say that she fires up a lot easier now. It's just sometimes it takes like ten kicks, it's not that bad. Only the guys I ride with are like "what's wrong and just push a button on their bikes and then laugh at me. it's fine though once I get going I'm the one laughing.

I have already started calling about the porting. If i put a set of aftermarket carbs on would that also eliminate the TORS? What am I looking for that will work for future mods as well? Thanks for the input guys! Really appreciated!

It wont give me revs but on the other hand I get a lot of other useful functions. I can get one with mounting hardware for R1200.00 (+/-USD191). How does the price sound? It's about the best I can get here and its water proof as a plus.

Defnitely an electric start, my shee really annoys me sometimes when I have to kick her like a million times! A reverse would not be a bad idea and some better shocks. Otherwise I reckon I like everything about the shee, maybe a full set of carbon fibre plastics if that makes sense.

I reckon I'll start looking around here for an adjustable timing plate then. Can anybody give me a step by step guide to removing the TORS. BTW what the hell is it there for anyway? Or is it like your appendix or tonsils?!?

Hi Guys! Any suggestions as to what mods to do next. I've done the pipes, jetting and filter. Are there other forms of bolt on power or is the next step the engine. I've read about some guys saying to take the TORS off. Is this difficult and do I gain anything by doing it?

WELCOME TO THE HQ'S! I have the dual dmc aliens and love them! I rode with a guy this week end that had fmf's, the dmc's were definitely louder if that's what you are looking for. Let us know what you choose.

Can't wait to get some desert riding done. I reckon that must be where the banshee is best. i envy you guys! Next year I might make it to the namib desert run. Anyone here ever come over, I see a few overseas sights advertizing the run?
