  1. Well it comes from the fact that an engine will make ALOT more power on the edge than it could ever make rich. You want to give an engine just enough fuel to make the most power it can without detonating. Thats why tuning with a wideband is alot more accurate than guessing with plug reading. Think about it.. Do you see Nascar or top fuel drag cars reading plugs? No, you see wideband 02 sensors on every cylinder.

  6. hey, remember when dajogiejr was posting trying to tell somone that they needed to jet their bike richer at higher elevation because "the air is thinner up there so it flows into the cylinder faster".. and thats what started this whole thing? And then he said that the reason 2 stroke engines make more power is because the crankcase is part of the combustion chamber.

So no I have not had time to post due the fact that I cut down a tree in my back yard like a month ago and my wife was bitching cause I never cleaned it up. So I cleaned it up. And my back hurts, but not as much as my ego cause you guys are crushing me constantly. Also I am working on the LT250 on the weekends. I'll try to pay more attention to you guys. I know it's your entire lives to post on banshee HQ looking at the time signatures from your posts. Your pretty much on the internet 24-7 so it must be frustrating.... So anyway I'm back I check in to see your progress in a few hours.. Keep it original.. the guy who posted "ojfool".... I mean seriously bro, "ojfool"..... Comon. Take some time to think about your posts. On another note. I see alot of guys asking for the dyno results. Just for the record I never claimed to make a bunch of power. Just that I was going to dyno the thing. As stated before I will be happy if I make 47hp. But I MAY be using the inertia dyno, so of course according to all the mechaical engineers on here I won't know WHAT I made.
  10. BTW it a little strange that I told you it was a dynojet 2 days ago, you mentioned nothing.. Then I post that it isn't a brake dyno yesterday.. Still nothing.. NOW all of a sudden you have all kinds of information about dynos.... Little skeptical about you acutal knowledge vs your ablility to search the internet.
  11. Hmm, Well I thought I made it clear that I figured you knew that. However, I disagree about how useful that type of dyno is. 10k, No. But if you didn't notice that dyno is at someones house... Not a shop. It's not the dyno, but the data aquisition system that makes this particular setup very useful. And I have seen that dyno put up much lower numbers than some brake dynos. I have also run cars on it and seen it be witthin 3% of the runs. So it's not perfect. But it works pretty good. You seem to have a pretty good ability to search the internet to get information. Brake dynos are expensive to own and operate. And to have something like that at your house is pretty cool in my book.
  12. Ok, that is not a brake dyno. It's an inertia dyno. There is a really big difference that Firehead as misguided as he is, did pick up on.

  14. BTW those numbers ARE NOT easily attainable... 569 out of a 331 s trim car? You HAVE to be kidding me.. Those cars DID make those numbers but there are reasons why..

  16. And there were TWO cars on they dyno. 91 S- trim. And a KB -03 mustang. But hey, you work at a dyno shop you should know that...............What exaclty do you think was done to those cars to put up the numbers I CLAIM they made...

You know what, if you worked at a dyno shop, like you claim, you would know these numbers are easily attaible.. Funny how you never asked what was done to the cars, just that it was bullshit. Yeah, you worked at at a dyno shop....

  21. The edit in the previous post was to fix the link, not to change anything I said. Now, more dynamic people may know the shop that was taken at. And all dyno results are accurate. Now some of you may say.. How the hell did a 331 S-trim mustang make that power. Well all I can tell you is, it did. Maybe there is a reason, maybe not.
