  1. RIS design out in California did mine. I think it was 200 and that was for the show chrome. And they stand behind there work. Mine had already been ran also.
  2. just my opinion but I like the haulers better. When I first started going down to LS I had a set of v paddles and I tried a set of my buddys haulers and I liked them alot better. You will hear some people say they have trouble turning with them but honestly I never noticed having any problems turning with them. My dune bike is a 686 raptor with 21 inch 8 paddle extremes and I carve thru the trails with no problems at all.
  3. We run haulers on all our trail bikes down at LS. We have never had a problem. Those tires are alot tougher than people think.
  4. Man I am sure glad I came across this post. I haven't been able to get on PS for two days now. I called a buddy of mine and asked him to type in my info and it signed right on. ::
  5. After seeing some of the monster cylinders that calvin comes up with probably anything is possible.
  6. No, I live up North end of Kansas City, MO.
  7. BS. So does it have vitos mono on it or yz cylinders? If he is going to bs like that he needs to atleast get his story straight before he starts telling it.
  8. You might want to check with some of the builders on here because on pwk's your dump should be drilled probably at least 120. You will have to drill your mains and if you drill your tubes at say 110 that would limit you to a 110 main jet. No matter how much you drill your main jets out your carbs will still only flow what the tubes will allow. If you plan on spraying the bike you will have to decide whether you want to spray it with alcohol or gas. Gas is more efficient and if that is what you choose you will need to find a spot for another fuel tank to hold the gas. I am not an asphalt racer but on a pass that long I would be afraid of running the carbs dry also. I am sure their are some asphalt racers on here that can help you out.
  9. same here.
  10. 8 inch will also help with getting off the line. The taller sidewall will flex helping the tire to hook. I like riding on the 8 in the dunes. I feel I get a more comfortable ride with the taller sidewall also. But that is just my preference.
  11. It is getting a slight makeover this winter. That picture was from early last year.
  12. The duneable overide is a good idea.
  13. LMAO!!!!
  14. If it is on a smaller motor you can always install it and pull every other weight off or I have seen some pull all the weights off and just run the fingers. This is if your bike is mildly built and is a small motor.
  15. I started my son out when he was still crawling by putting him on in front of me and taking him real slow for short rides. I felt that would get him to where he wouldn't be afraid of the noise or the bike. And it definatly worked. When he was 4 I took him down to Little Sahara for his birthday and he scared the crap out of me. He liked setting on the gas tank and holding on to the handle bars. I took him up every dune down there and he would pull himself up to see over the tops of the dunes as we crested them. Luckily his mom was back at camp or she would have killed me. When we came back I bought him one of those 107cc jap knockoff bikes and he scared me on it because it was so narrow I was affraid he was going to get hurt. So now he is 5 and has been riding a polaris predator 90. That was the best money I have ever spent. Now he wants a dirtbike. My wife is going to kill me.

  17. Ummmm yeah that is my bike in my signature and those were my old tires. I now run 12 paddles. Did you notice the guy asking the paddle question only weights 145 pounds and is running a stock length swingarm? Your running a +6 swingarm so you can get away with over paddling yours.
  18. That's to much tire for his setup.
  19. A billet 2nd gear is probably going to be around 200. But honestly your stock gear will take alot of abuse. If you was putting alot of power on it then I would tell you it was a must. But I have seen 18 mills and big crankers running stock gears.
  20. The 1-5 is going to give you some more options on gearing. I think alot of the guys who race on asphault run the 1-5. I run the 2-5 and love it. The neutral down is just easier to find. I know on mine it was cut for stock position and I wish it would have been a neutral down. Because I have a hard time hitting neutral. I solved that by removing first gear completely this last time I tore it down to check it out. One thing you want to remember is if you aren't full out drag racing you really should think about the dunable overide. If you happen to let out off the throttle with the drag overide without pulling the clutch in you take a big risk of blowing the tranny up. You can let off in 5th gear but any other gear you will back load that transmission and it will be time to split the cases and put a new one in.
  21. About the roll out. Once skat trak switched carcas the roll outs got smaller. The new carcas is also heavier. If you end up buying 22 superlites your roll out is probably going to be 72-73 inch and that's normal. Sometimes you can find used ones with the old carcas and the roll out on the old ones could be 74-75. If you buy the 21 inch tire your roll out will probably be 68-69. What I do is on those hot summer days I put about 15-20 lbs of air in mine and throw them out in the sun and stretch them. I am not telling anyone to do this because their is a high chance of blowing your tires apart. What I have seen on the 4 mills alot of the guys on the track will run 12 paddle extremes but they are also running a wheelie bar. On mine its a 350 on alcohol and 10 paddle isn't enough in the dunes. This year I am either going to run rippers or 12 extremes.
  22. Yes there still is camping at sandrat and they have put power and water hookups next to the track that you can use on race weekends.
  23. The price of a pingle would be nothing compared to the price of melting the topend down. For me it would just be peace of mind.
  24. I thought I was the only one. I have trouble reading his threads. My eyes just keep going down to the bouncing.
  25. Hey I take offense to that!! I'm not always a asshole.
