  1. Talk to Dan at A&S he has came up with some new pipes that are putting out about 8-10 more hp than cpi's.
  2. I tried running solid struts all the way around on mine when it was in a stock frame and couldn't get the weight to transfer. Would leave the line spinning sideways instead of hooking up. I was able to leave the line the best with strut on the rear and stock shocks on the front. 60 ft times were alot better. just my .02
  3. He goes by FASTOYS on here.
  4. Oh and I have a little stock cylinder 350 that I have a hard time getting people to believe it's only a 350. It's run right beside alot bigger motors. Guess who built it?A guy out in the middle of nowhere that answers the phone Farm And Sand Toys.
  5. All of us are guilty of always wanting more power. With the 7 and 10 mill cranks close in price if not the same price you might as well do the 10. Cases are going to have to be trenched with either a 7 or a 10. Only difference in the price is the 7-10 mill cranks are about double the 4 mill and the cost of having your cases trenched. When it's all said and done you won't be saying to yourself I wish I would of done the 10. Just my .02
  6. lean over the tank and take first two fingers and hold the front brake bring the rpms up and start to slip the clutch till you can feel the bike wanting to move. When the flag or arm drops let go of everthing and pin it wide open and hold on. Just takes a little practice.
  7. starting in second will help out alot.
  8. What's this track like? How much shut down area?
  9. We will be down. The 14 mill came in today so we will be spending tomorrow putting it together and doing a little tuning. We'll be bringing a couple of little 350's and maybe a cranker I don't know about the cranker just yet.
  10. If you are going to pay for the porting you would be ahead to buy the cubs. From what I have seen you can pick the cubs up with the nikasil for around 875. If you port your stock cylinders you are probably going to have 400 or 500 in the porting and you will still have to buy new pistons. And I don't think you will have the reliability that the cubs have since they are nikasiled. Just my .02
  11. Sell your stock cylinders probably get around 200-300 out of them maybe more take the 500 you would pay for porting anyway put it together and by some cubs from Fastoys on here and you will be alot happier than just porting your stock cylinders.
  12. Fastoys I think you might have some doubters on how fast a raptor can be.
  13. If you are riding mostly trails you will really like the T5's. When I first bought my shee that is what it had on it and they were a real good all around pipe. I would definitly go with the v-force to. Oh and the T5's wont burn the crap out of you either.
  14. 22x11x8 10 paddle superlites. 15-45 gearing and launch in 2nd. Bike hauls ass. Motor by F.A.S.T. Buy the 21x12x8 on 8 inch rims. Use to run them down at Little Sahara on my shee before the motor work and loved them. Road the crap out of trails and jumped and helps on the big end when you are racing. Oh my 21s were 10 paddle extremes.
  15. Look at skat traks 21x12x8 haulers. I run the eight paddle extreme on my 686 raptor and I use to run the same size tire with 10 paddle extreme on my shee before the port job. The 21 has a bigger roll out which will help you on the big end. Right now I run 22x11x8 10 paddle triple buffs but I am running a 8 over arm.

If all you do is drag you should have it ported. Once you get it ported you will want to change pipes. The toomeys will sign off before the cpi's or shears will. It will be night and day difference with port job and a set of performance pipes.
