  1. don't take this the wrong way but sounds like the guys at the dynoed might of had it tuned good for a 90sec dyno pull but not for a wide open run out in the dunes.with alky that couple hp gain from running it on the edge isn't worth blowing the motor up.run it fat it will just blow the extra out the pipes!
  2. looks really good!one thing to look at to was that it has a really good smooth climb to the max hp.
  3. all dyno's are different one dyno might say 90 when another will say 100 with the same setup.but i wouldn't see why it shouldn't be around 100hp

  5. i've talked to dave a few times on the phone but not many.i got a phone call today and hell thought the guy had the wrong number and it was dave.talk about happy. you all should of heard him on the phone.after talking to dave about how well the cub i have runs from kev im glad dave got to feel it for his self now.
  6. there is only so much you can do with a stock head so i believe your cut for the squish is limited if i'm not wrong.but yeah .028 is too tight.try to get it closer to .040 or maybe alil over.is there a reason you didn't go with a aftermarket head?i just changed my setup and put a .012 thicker base gasket on and it droped my compression 20 pds and yes it will change your durations with a thicker base gasket
  7. i would stay away from those no name guys and go with somebody thats been around for a lil while and has 100's of positive feedbacks from people.also what is 50 bucks more for a killer port job from kevin!

  9. 39 pwk's are pretty popular for 421 cubs.you can convert them over to alky.u can can spend the money and get yourself a set of lectrons which are nice for alky.hp its hard to tell.you going to have it ported or not and who will be doing it?

  19. just get a hold of kevin at herr jugs racing.he will get you a new set and port them for you,so you will know exactly what you got
