Throw that stock air filter assembly away and get a pro flow kit with a K&N or UNI aftermarket air filter, pronto. The stock air filter is crap.
Put the 240's in and check your plugs. You may need to go up to 250's.
2 things just came to my mind when I just saw your buddie's deer.
1. God damn! Look at how big that deer is.
2. That deer would make a lot of deer sausage.
Anybody on these forums like deer sausage? Or even eat any?
WHere are you located and how long is your deer season?
Have you guys seen the new kenda radials? I just saw them in a new RMATV catalog. The rears look kinda like those cut knarlys that you run, loco.
They look pretty good to me.
yeah, here's a pic. they look good to me.
Just my .02$. If its 10 to 20 deg outside and you are running a toomey exhaust with no air box lid and 230 main jets in, you are lean. You may have it jetted pretty good in the midrange from lowerin the clip on your needle but sounds to me like you're lean on top. But that aint got nuthin to do with it ideling high. Check your carb slides and put some 330 mains in it and get an aftermarket air filter like a K&N or UNI foam set up.

the nickle plated fatties on it. Looked like crap, IMHO. The (what I
thought was nickel plated finish) looked kind of like silver spray paint.
I know what that is. Parasailin'

Had a helluva time. The boat driver stopped and let us float down
and made us think he was gonna dunk us. Just as we were about to
hit the water, he took off and shot us back up into the air.
