  1. Have you tried turning your air screws in? Where are your needles set @?
  2. That thing is just plain.......lovely.
  3. welcome to the HQ. When I ran my fattys w/ v-force3 reed cages, K&N with lid off air box, stock carbs and stock porting, I had 340 mains, needles middle position, 27.5 pilots and 1.5 turns out on the air screws. This is @ sea level tho. A port job will take bigger main jets, im sure. What kind of air filter assy do you have?
  4. That taillight looks sick. I like it.
  5. SOme asked me for more pics of the filters. If it will help sell em, I'll post em.
  6. I would dare guess at maybe figure about 50 bucks or more per square foot. Just material and no labor. Keep in mind, at least in my area, the price of building material has gone up substancially since Hurricane Katrina. I mean, just the price of freakin' plywood has almost doubled.
  7. You ever notice, when they list something and it says... "not banshee" in the title? And then you do a search on there and that bullshit comes up? Seems like everything gets compared to the banshee.
  8. Happy birthday.
  9. Ok everyone. I'll take 350 bucks for the package shipped. And yes I will take paypal. This is including shipping. Pipes, silencers, air filters, main jets, billet clutch cover insert. For anyone in doubt, IMHO, these pipes look better than what most are selling around here. I got the filters back at the end of february and used them up into the second week of March. I probably rode them a total of 4 times. About 20 minutes on each ride. For you peeps looking for main jets. Here is a link to some..... about the cheapest I have found on the internet so far........... click here
  10. Thats exciting man. I got Jeff doin some work for me, no cub tho. And Im excited to get my bike put back together and see how much more of a beast its gonna be.
  11. Hey man, can you do like a darth vader head? somethin like this..
  12. Dont leave yet. Sorry to jack this thread, MFIC. Dajogjr, how do you like your cub set up that you got from Jeffrey? BenBB Jetting FAQ MFIC click that link.
  13. You may need to set your idle up some.
  14. I'd say go ahead and do a plug chop. You didnt list a port job as one of your mods so you should be ok. I've seen a lot of people run 280's on up to 340's with pipes and the pod filters. Check your plugs tho. 2 spark plugs are cheaper than a new top end.
  15. Im not tring to rite anyone, sometimes another pair of eyes is really good to look at something and a different point of view.
  16. Well I must have interpereted the jetting FAQ wrong. I thought it was less air as you rise in elevation so less fuel is needed. .Edit: this is what I got from BenBB's jetting article.....
  17. Dont you lean your jetting as you rise in elevation, above sea level?
  18. @ sea level, take the lid of and try some 320's to 340's. With the lid on, 300's. You may wanna drop those clips a notch or two also.
  19. I think chainsaws are awesome, brooke.
  20. I think this stuff is sold, pending payment.
  21. Couldn't agree with you more, on that one. That stuff will make your hair fall out. Stan, I dont know ya, but those pipe hangers you sent me are kick ass.
  22. When you get the little c-clips off, its best not to "beat" the wrist pins out, putting stress on the crank. Yeh, get a clymers, they show you how to make a little tool to get the wrist pins out too.
  23. If I was gonna get a new one, I'd deffinately pick the 50th anniversary. ................................ Then mod the piss out of it.
  24. Jeff can hook you up with everything. And get ready to play the waiting game.
