I for one, would like to see Saddam hang. The motherfucker deserves a much worse fate. And on a lighter note, to the members here that are fighting over in Iraq, thank you for your service and may you make it home safe to your families and loved ones.

Did you make a vroom vroom sound with your mouth? That's what happend to me when I took my engine out. THe louder you make the sound, the more power it will have.
-
I55 all the way from Jackson. It was prolly more like 3.5 hours, but didnt seem that long. So 20 gal of race gas would get you thru bout 3 full days of riding? I shouldnt have any problem then. Lol I'll just be off to walmart to get a couple more jugs. Are the tracks still open?
-
Sounds like a plan. Whats the fuel situation at LS. Is there a place to get race fuel or does someone need to bring a 55 gal drum? lol I was up your way about a month ago at presidents island on business. I didnt realize that it was only about a 3 hour drive up there. I could meet up with you and follow you in. THat is if you mofos didnt mind me bringin a honda rancher along.

Yessir, um....shhhhhh..dont tell anyone. lol Razr2's hook like a mofo just like you said too. :woot: bigred's write up is awesome. Taking the engine apart to pull the crank and putting it back together isnt as hard as you think. Just dont let any of your tools walk off on ya while you working on it. Lol. Only problem I had doin mine was having a clutch spring and socket wrench walking off on me due to a 2 and 7 year old. lol WHen you get your ported cylinders and crank, i suggest you get jeff to hook you up with one of his clutch packs too.
-
If money isnt a factor here, do both. The 4mill would complement the port job. They would be awesome together. Best bet would be to do it up the first time. Get the port job cut for the 4 mill long rod crank and go with some cut domes and a noss head.

From what I have experienced, the banshee is easier to mod out than "those other quads" Put a grand in your banshee motor and It will most likely run away from a 4stroke quad with the same money tied up in mods. Exactically what are you ranting about here? This is a banshee oriented site. Most everyone here enjoys banshees. I know I do.
-
Not hard at all as long as you have the tools and the time. It wasnt hard when I did mines, just time consuming. Jeff does a killer dune port. I'm enjoying the heck outta mine. If you have the money, might wanna stick a 4 mill in there too.
-
I took mine off and reinstalled it with a 1 1/4" socket and air impact wrench. Same size also removes the nut on the countershaft sprocket.

I dont know about his trail port, but Jeff does a pretty kick ass dune port. How much trail riding do you do verses everything else? Any techincal stuff?

F.A.S.T. RACING WEBSITE IS LIVE ********
Hilarious replied to FASTOYS's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Yeah, Jeff. How many cases of twinkies and oatmeal cream pies would it take to get me a new cub motor? I didnt see a pic of your mug on there. You need to put one up so we speedaholics can see who we are dealin' with. Lol Awesome website! And another satisfied F.A.S.T. customer. -
Yes, I had to grind my footpeg also. And as for the brake lever, you just need to adjust it at the rod on the master cylinder. Here's a pic, may help you a little.

Just bought a banshee need HELP!
Hilarious replied to 01sheesabitch's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
The things on top of the carbs would be the TORS units. Throttle Override System. Just unplug the wires going to them. Also, look at your parking brake handle and remove the small switch and wire going up to it. Trace it down the stearing stem and unplug it from the wiring harness, if you havent already. -

Adding a k&n and boost bottle
Hilarious replied to 370ccblack&white's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
And Dave, lol you are exactically right. I was just in a helping mood today. Lol I sure as hell couldnt feel any difference when i had just a K&N. :yelrotflmao: Me and Jeff was talkin bout you yesterday. He's got the 2 of us mixed up. Lol Let me know if you get some parts for a honda rancher. -
I think you should do it, fella. Pink frame, yellow fullbores with pink flames. That motherfucker would scream "pink lemonade" everytime I saw it tho.

Adding a k&n and boost bottle
Hilarious replied to 370ccblack&white's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
Wtf are you saying here? I try to buy American when I can, but I just havent seen an American quad that has an aftermarket following and can hang with a banshee. Try this..... Install 240 main jets with K&N, lid on and no snorkel. air screws 1.5 to 2 turns out, needles in stock position. -
And might I add again, that im running your old jugs. lol Im still glad you sold em to me. COMPLETELY different machine from what i brought home from the yamaha place. :woot:
-
THought i'd chime in. I just got a 4mil dune port from Jeff and it is awesome. Cant go wrong with getting some work from him. Im not sure on the size of my domes, but im running 35 pwks with +5 timing and cpis and i have plenty of bottom end and top end too.
-
If its a brand spankin' machine you may notice a smell to it. As for the dealer doing a good job tuning it up before they go out, I dont think most stealerships even give a fuck whether your atv is tuned 100%. Mine sure as hell wasnt when I brought it home. You should be fine with a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and distilled water. And its better to check the actual coolant in the radiator, often. I'd run about 2 or 3 more heat cycles through it. Let it reach normal operating temperature then let it completely cool before really getting down on it. Try setting the air screws in the carbs somewheres from 1.5 to 2 turns out and see how that does.
-
From what I have experienced with my lockup, it is money well spent. And with the quick change cover that comes with it, clutch adjustments are easy to do from now on.
-
Sounds to me like you need bigger mains. I'd throw some 300's in there and set your air screws to about 1.5 turns out and throw the lid away. May wind up going to 290 or 280's. What do your plugs look like?
