  1. Anyways it didn't make a difference on mine but it isn't no 10mm like yours chase.
  2. the second one doesn't work.
  3. yeah that should work except the guy who tought me how to port had one that looked identical to that and it said is rz350 only had 90psi so he was gonna tear it apart for rings but mine, and another tester read it had 140, but i don't know the exact brand of his and how old it was. I wish i had a cool hardcase to put mine like that though.
  4. That won't keep it from idleing, if it is going to do anything it won't eaven let the bike start.
  5. if i were you i would just go to your local parts store for the tester. I got mine at Orielly's and it cam with two other adapters and it works great and i have never had anyproblem after almost a year. It goes all the way to 300psi. and i agree with bigboybanshee on the compression sounds high for that size of dome.
  6. yeah like mine!! haha well if there is a weekend that grain valley isn't racin and you guys are we will try to make it.
  7. yeah i figured you knew that just with all the other directions it just got left out. also when you are telling about the holes that SHOULD be there drilled and tapped, well everyone I have done there IS holes already tapped but those aren't the ones you want to use. You have to tapp and drill the holes your self. Cause if you use the holes that are already tapped then your idle screw will be on the insides of the carbs, and hard to adjust. Just thought i would add that to clear things up, you are probably saying the same thing just going a little too fast for someone who hasn't done it before. Edit: Oh ok i see now where you state on the OUTSIDE of the carb, but they shouldn't already be drilled and tapped.
  8. and i've seen one of the 4 mils above, either reded or 23champ, (can't remeber which one) run damn good against a 10mm at Grain Valley.
  9. How you have your bike set up is another factor but with your horsepower I would say +8 or +10. Just comparing it to mine I have a +8 and have no idea about my horsepower but I would say it isn't as much as yours, and I can get it to spin on asphalt with my turf tamers but when i put the hoosiers on it just stand up in the first three gears. So start with an 8 and then go from there.
  10. Just post up the rest of that vid in your avatar and you might get someone to bite!
  11. lets see some pics!!
  12. one thing you guys are leaving out that might be his problem is on the two sets of stock carbs I done i hade to sand the carb down, cause from factory they are angled where the screw goes and you must sand it down until it is flat or else the idle screw will not be long enough to reach the slides.
  13. well the previous owner couldn't weld and sent you a product that was not worth the money spent and their customer service sucked balls!
  14. The purple one is a +4 and the blue one is a +6 and about the front end comming up well it all depends on your power. I don't have a problem gettin mine up and keeping it up for the first three gears.
  15. Same here, lets see them!
  16. maybe your other three just swelled up.
  17. You don't want to run 2:1 on a drag bike, just get you some dual 35's and the RDZ outaframes will work, just don't get the trininty's.
  18. yeah see that is what i was thinking about getting, the duneable, but just not 100%.
  19. yeah i hear what you are saying, and for how serious i am well i just do it for fun really. I was just curious has how fast my bike would run the 1/8 with what i have but now i am kinda addicted and have been going back like every week. i might look into some struts for it though, and i am going to rear gear it again like you said to try just using 5th seemed like i went faster with the gearing just couldn't get off the line, but now i am a little better on the takeoff. But like you said it is trial and error so i will try with this setup now and see what it gets me. :baseball_original: edit: i would really like to get ahold of an override, just not sure of which one i want. Are you runnin the 1-5 full drag?
  20. well with the fifteen i was damn near topped out. every time i ran on the 15 my top speed was 76, even when i ran the 8.4 and the 8.8 my top speed on both was 76. I am not sure what to do, but i do know that i need to do some more jetting on the mains, it doesn't really like to pull very hard in sixth. I dropped the main 2 thousandths so we will see what that does. I also have a problem gettin off the line, i slip the clutch for about ohh 10 feet before it is completely engaged but then it still stands up.
  21. I thought i might give this a shot on here, but anyways it is a 2.3 liter ford out of my old 91' ford ranger. It still runs al right but is far from new. It has i think a little over 160,000 miles on it. I can find out for sure when i go home from school the next time. Anyways it does burn some oil when runnin it hard but starts right up everytime. I am also selling the 5-speed tranny with it, and the rear end and drive shaft if needed. The tranny always shifts fine but it also has the same amount of miles on it. Just shoot me an offer, and i will see what i can do. I know shipping on this stuff would be somewhat pricey but give me offers and a zip code and i will get a shipping quote. Thanks, Thomas edit: I can get some pics of the stuff if you would like but they will have to wait until this weekend.
  22. oh yeah nothing fancy about that bike at all! Travis those thires look sooo big on the back, is it just because of the narrow axle or what? They are 20x10x10's right?
  23. if you really wanna get a burn, ride a shee with rockets!
  24. well i had CPI's on here before I went to rockets and seemed to me these pulled a little longer. But as the night went and it got cooler it really started pulling all the way through sixth. so i am gonna go down to a .114 main, i am at a .116 now. If I knew someone who had some sheares i would love to try them!
  25. damn! identical, what is your 60ft time?
