  1. Yes I would get it done if I were you, I have split two recently that were coming apart. And the local shop that does all of mine is 55 dollars.
  2. oh well thats cool, he mentioned something about it over the phone to me, but anyways I think i might have another buddy who is need of a clutch, but if he his I'll be callin ya.
  3. yeh it is 1/8 mile asphalt. and yes we try to go to Grain Valley, Missouri as much as possible, it is 300ft dirt drags, but it is setup for cars so the track is really deep at the start. well i have trex cylinders with a 4mm stroker and stock rods so it's a 427. with rocket pipes and timing advanced to 7 degrees and i run alcohol. It still isn't ported yet, just not sure if i want to spend the money on these cylinders or get some cubs next year. . i run 15/41 gearing and a plus 6 swingarm. anyways i know it is a slow time for my mods but hopefully with a little more jetting and ALOT more practice i can break 8. I just got to get the hang of the take off and try to keep it from standing up.
  4. We went racing at KCIR again last night and I had a little better luck and alot more fun cause I finally wasn't the only one. My brother and two other of our buddies took their banshees aswell. but anyways my best run was a 8.433 at 76.86 MPH and a 1.891 60ft. We are gonna go back next week and try it again! :baseball_original:
  5. Got it from Cascade.
  6. No he didn't mean seeds to plant, he meant eat the seeds inside the pepper. That is the hot part of the pepper.
  7. Hey man i got a buddy who is looking for a set of T5's but must be in damn near brand new shape. Its the orange bike i am rebuilding in the image forum. Anyways send pics to [email protected]
  8. hey thanks man, but i found the drill bits and got them drilled. But hell you don't need them you can just make your own jets!
  9. Thanks Jeff, i was looking on there at the drill bits but needed them before this weekend so i found a place closer, but if i need to tune some more those half sizes will come in really handy. OH and by the way my buddy Austin got his parts today(clutch, and gasket and bolts) thanks again for your fast shipping I love it.
  10. Hey man happy birthday. by the way did you race at Grain Valley last Saturday by chance?
  11. here is mine like bigboybanshee said i like how the points all go together, and the angles all match too. thats a bad picture let me find a better one.
  12. I know these aren't new but my old one recently broke and i decided to spend some extra money for a braided one,(lets just hope this one doesn't brake too, 35 dollars down the drain) anyways all i did was install the cable and might just be because i haven't had a new one in like forever but it makes the heavy duty springs feel like stock ones! and it looks cool too.
  13. yeh i know where it is, its the same place i have had to order all of my stuff. (pistons, reeds, really anything to do with the cylinders since they are custom and they are the only place i can find to carry everything in stock). and DASA and team racers edge is the same place.
  14. yep those are the exact bits that i got. Bought them from DECO in Lee's Summitt. .68 a peice.
  15. um well i have had them for 3 years now but they were on the bike when i bought it and i know the guy i bought it from and he had them for 2 years. The only thing i have had problems with or i should say had problems with is the powervalves. they get worn after some time and they are able to slide down into the cylinder and the piston hit it and you can guess the rest. but since then i have blocked them off. I might have to look into the porting this winter but i just wasn't sure where to go, i have had alot of people tell me K&T is the place to go for trex shit.
  16. well there is always that chance you might get beat but there is only one way to find out. What all does he have done to his bike, really all that can be done is a cam exhaust filter and possibly big bore. but i doubt it. and if your shee is runnin like it should and you can leave on the wood and be able to ride it i personally think you should have no problem, but anything is possible. Let us know how the outcome is!
  17. yeh i am happy with them but there is always shit out there faster. but every winter i pull it apart with intentions of getting it ported there is either other shit that needs replaced and i just can't afford for the port work. And for my bottom end it is still pretty good but last year when i had the powervavles in use shit you could ride it like a four stroke! But this year i blocked them off but it will still stand up in second gear with a plus six on asphalt.
  18. well than you should really have no problem now, if it was going to be on dirt it would have been a little closer cause you would have spun on the line but on asphalt if you can ride your shee you should have no problem at all.
  19. damn! yeh there is only one quad i have seen that got in the threes here and it is a 3 cylinder rotax.
  20. not sure if this has already been said yet or not I didn't really feal like reading all four pages but anyways. Anitfreeze usually works pretty good. They love it!
  21. not sure of my horsepower but it isn't anything to rave about, it still isn't ported at all. and just set your timing at 4 degrees advanced it will run good their. ALso take the springs that hook to your slide and cut them down and then restretch them to the proper length but just go like a coil at a time. also i took the spring out of my throttle box on the handle bars, it helped some also, my thottle is just as easy if not easier than a stock banshee now.
  22. well the only problem with tappin it is the little peices will go into the tranny which is never good. The right way to fix it would be to split the cases and retap it and clean out all of the shavings. well you posted while i was typing so it looks like that would work too.
  23. you should have noooo problem out running that four stroke. what are you going to be running on (dirt, sand, asphalt) and how long is the race going to be?
  24. man that is impressive, the track where i race is really deep at the beginning cause we also have a car class and it has to be deep for them to take off and the quads kinda sink for a little bit then take off. The 10mm cubs on alky only run like 4.2's or somewhere around there
