I don't think you would see a difference on "kicking" compression but the pipes will play a major factor in flow and cylinder compression under actual running conditions.

Twice I've seen bottom cases broken around the drain plug from rough shippers. Pack carefully so there's no way for the plug to take the hit when in transit....

Gosh, I don't want to get into a pissing match here so I hope this is just a friendly discussion. I was posting what I know to be first hand accurate information. My son and I race 1/4 mile Banshee's. In 2008 our best ET's with both quads running Banshee based motors on alcohol and no nitrous was 10.07 and 10.19. IMO $1000.00 in private purchased parts/upgrades in a stock Banshee still can't compete with a stock 1000 Artic Cat. A really good ET from a stock port cylinder and carb Banshee with reeds and pipes is 13.40's ** This is 1/4 mile I'm talking about. Maybe that's were some of our difference of opinion is?

A stock Banshee would take way more than a grand to compete. That sled with a 160# rider will do low 10.30's on a good day.
