  1. it's like most setups, those that have 'em love 'em. i'm doing suspention with this years tax return, and probably porting and a 4mil stroker next year. really want to see what a 2-1 carb does on a stroker.
  2. check your pilots and make sure your carbs are synched
  3. i have powder coated j arms that are still good. the lowers were toast afterwards.
  4. if your trailer isn't level get yourself a drop hitch. possibly the banshee weighs more than the polaris. you could try switching them on the trailer.
  5. as the title says. which one is gonna be better for duning? buying new shocks and having the rear rebuilt as soon as the tax man gives me back my money. would also like to hear some reviews on the elka duners? is the "duner" going to be any different than having a builder valve any other shock for dune play?
  6. they should be right around 13 inches. if they came with tie rods those should also be 13 inches.
  7. that bike is sick. that's it and that's all man. they have those tires for sportbikes too. but they are re-treads in that case. and i'll be damned if i put retreads on my gixxer1k
  8. i'd definately start with 190-195 range for the main and somewhere around 52.5 for the pilot
  9. i've got the pc's with spark arrested silencers. i love em. look awesome, sound and perform great, and i don't need to clamp on any shitty sparkys for dune trips or state trails. chaise@miamiatv has some pc's for sale $250 shipped. with some elbow grease they come out great.
  10. 773 908 5814 first guy with 75 beans to call me gets em. i should be home tomorrow during the day so they can be picked up.
  11. i would think it's the combo with the compression being that off and a 2 into 1 kit. more vaccum on one cylinder leaning out the other cylinder. i believe 10 psi is as far as you want to be off. chase, i thought you ran a 2->1 kit along with drag pipes?
  12. you can usually find them used for about 250 - 300 beans
  13. bump decided to sell locally, first $75 to pick them up and they're yours. to hard for me to deal with shipping these things. no time, too busy with work etc. sorry bansheeryder and others out of state. just travel too much for work and a hectic schedule.
  14. dibs on pipe clamps / clutch insert pics to [email protected] please
  15. a salvage title bike is nearly uninsurable. just think if you crash it. most accidents on a street bike result in totalling it. you could get a nice clean title f4i for 2500-3500 and they are bullet proof. my insurance doubled from a sv650 to a gsxr1000 2 years ago.
  16. it's possible. it would create a lot of pressure inside the crankcase. it is possible to bend pushrods and connecting rods. both of those would give you a tick though. popping may be from blow-by caused by the overfill.
  17. hit the nail on the head. with the constantly changing temps at silver lake i love mine. when i ordered it new came out the box spot on. just had to set the idle. buy a used set up. if you dont like it you can sell it no problem. but i don't see that happening.
  18. that's what i'm running. love it. but if i could do it over i would have bought the cv used. makes starts from a dead stop much easier. no immediate bogs like most stockers i've ridden. great for woods and trails, and i definately hold my own at the dunes.
  19. i use 3M plastic polish / cleaner. slop it on and go nuts with and orbital buffer. always come out looking new.
  20. does it use the stock studs? interchangable with pro design domes? where to get new o rings?
  21. this thread needs to be deleted. not trying to bring it to to top, but for fucks sake stop. you knew what the jugs were worth, he didn't. so you wound up not getting the steal of the century. you got your money back. quit being a fucking baby. i would deal with fasterthanU well before i dealt with a whiney little bitch like you. you already dragged his name through the mud, so shut the fuck up.
  22. well shit, this thread is getting out of hand. all i have to say is if a deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is. a set of jugs for $30 is rediculous. old boy here made a mistake saying he'd sell them for that. considering he could get close to 10 times that on ebay, he withdrew before he fuct HIMSELF. it's just a lesson, check around before you sell something. And when you're 17 that's a lot of money to piss away. later, bill
  23. me and some buddies are thinking of going for the week. went last year. i'll keep it posted. later, bill
  24. ummm... do i even have to say it? kinda like swimming in gas before lighting the bonfire.
  25. had the same problem. check your connections on the coil. ground might be loose.
