Definitely not a matched set. However if nobody advertised them as a matched set and nobody asked if they were matched, it's a bit of a grey area. Dunno, this is why I don't sell old junk.

Positive the motor is not hurt again? Filters aren't frosted over? Those frost guards you got should be adequate. Make sure it's not eating coolant as well.
Another factor is temp. How much colder or warmer? I've had days where the temp changes over 20 degrees as the sun goes down. These fuggers get thirsty when it goes from mid thirties to zero.
All torn down right now. I'll see if I can find pics. It's just sides mounted to the frame with a sheet under neath. All the air flow comes in from the back.
The concept on paper is great but the real world is different. I will post some photos later tonight which show the down fall of the larger intake. It's all pretty simple. However if the stud lay out were to change,bit would be a whole nother ball game.
