  1. Definitely not a matched set. However if nobody advertised them as a matched set and nobody asked if they were matched, it's a bit of a grey area. Dunno, this is why I don't sell old junk.
  2. Look at the rear motor mount. Just to the right is a little engraving. It should be the same for the top and bottom cases.
  3. Have they been verified as a mixed set?
  4. So the guy who spent how many thousands on a motor and chassis to ride 3 times a year in a straight line is now telling folks when they are spending to much money?
  5. There is supposed to be a tube between the two carbs.

  7. If you only use two make sure they go as Dennis stated. They are oriented in the direction the motor tries to twist.
  8. Many folks do run 4. But as stated OEM only uses 2.
  9. Had the rubber choke tube between them?
  10. Positive the motor is not hurt again? Filters aren't frosted over? Those frost guards you got should be adequate. Make sure it's not eating coolant as well.
  11. Another factor is temp. How much colder or warmer? I've had days where the temp changes over 20 degrees as the sun goes down. These fuggers get thirsty when it goes from mid thirties to zero.
  12. I just wanna know how much better the extra 2k is worth. If it's a few hp and ft. lbs., it would be worth it for guys willing to drop the cheddar.

  14. What do the filters look like after a race? And are you running outerwears?
  15. All torn down right now. I'll see if I can find pics. It's just sides mounted to the frame with a sheet under neath. All the air flow comes in from the back.

  18. You need to find a way to keep the pods breathing dry air. A couple sheets of the cheap thin carbon fiber and 3M resin makes an easy shroud.
  19. The concept on paper is great but the real world is different. I will post some photos later tonight which show the down fall of the larger intake. It's all pretty simple. However if the stud lay out were to change,bit would be a whole nother ball game.
