  1. So, what plugs are you putting in now? BR7's are to hot!
  2. Man, those GO PRO cams sure do make killer video. Looks like that was a good time. Plenty of shees in your group. That's awesome! 59 seconds..... That's not bad. I think were gonna need to see some more skin in order to determine if it really is up to snuff though. Hahaha.
  3. Why in the hell are you only buying uppers? Arms need to be matched sets. OEM arms are interchangeable as long as you have the right arm for the right spot, but you can't just mix some LSR arm with OEM. That's rediculous!
  4. Waste of effort. You gotta modify some shit and it still sucks.
  5. I'm not windy. But I do have a recommendation. I know money is tight but it really is nuts to do a top end and not be positive everything else is ok. The case work is easy. Split it. Replace bearings on the crank and get the thing welded. Seal kit is pretty cheap and other then that you may be able to get by. I doubt your trans needs anything, so this could be fairly affordable. Make sure to do use sealer on the crank keyway as well. At a minimum..... Do a leak down after the top end is assembled. No sense in spending the cash knowing god damn well that you're doing it again shortly. Oh, the happy medium for suspension parts. Definitely hawk eye the for sale section here. Lots of great stuff pops up for very decent prices.
  6. That motor has ALOT of compression! Change that situation if you want it to live.
  7. http://jackson.craigslist.org/cto/4395011293.html
  8. Try some blaster shocks (14") or 300ex shocks(13"). You would be surprised how cheap a decent set can be had.
  9. So, you're dating in to a family that tries to be gear heads. Unfortunately they are lost. This is a pivotal moment in your life. You can keep playing the game as it is and always be annoyed and eventually get stuck fixing their mistakes with zero gratitude. OR...... You can lick that pussy right, and turn her against her idiot family and run off to the dunes together with out that awesome brother in law.
  10. ^ let's be honest here. Possum kinda just owned this CrazyBastard.....
  11. Bummer! Bump for awesome stuff. Better buy it up before he figures out how to tune this thing and changes his mind about selling.
  12. ^ awesome!
  13. What mods?
  14. Who cares as long as the doc stitched that jalopy roast beef dungeon up nice and tight.
  15. Blasting will usually leave a kinda dull finish. The dusty residue should be wiped with a good cleaner suitable for paint prep.
  16. The pro design head doesn't need them finch, but Noss and chariot heads should.
  17. Not a shabby start. I think there was a nice set of full bore plastics for sale that would match that frame really nice.
  18. You mentioned that you used the copper washer and lock washers. The copper washer works like a gasket. It needs to be tightened between the acorn nut and head. That is how it's designed. The lock washers them selves are leaking as well as the open top style nuts you're using.
  19. You can go to any autozone or whatever auto parts store and find doorman door bushings that fit in the dog bone and upper shock eyelets on the frame. Then run the R6 diameter bolts. Real hard to drill those things out if you're not equipped like the average machinist.
  20. Can't seem to find a business with that name. Lots of similar stuff but not south Seattle Powersports. Do you know their contact info?
  21. I would seek out another stocker and get it trued and welded.
  22. That would make it soft. Not much travel, but soft enough to ride.
  23. I've had it with going through all the used shit on the shelf trying to find something that works. Any one know who has a decent deal on new coil and CDI? Usually I buy a lot of OEM stuff from Jeff at FAST but he only seems to show off brand on his site.
  24. Most any shop should have a spanner.
