  1. Are the CF1's notoriusly hard to seal as well?
  2. http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/lbg/4414263494.html
  3. Nice follow up.
  4. Time-cert! Maybe helicoil.
  5. The RD rods are 115 I believe. So a 795 Weisco should suffice.
  6. Simple, Cam. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  7. I do, and it's pretty damn stout. It destroyed the lakes 4mm big bore stock cylinder motor I used to think was as good as it got. That motor was 440 CC's and only managed 44ft lbs and 77hp with them tuning it. Truthfully there was intake and exhaust work done similar to most motocross stuff and next to zero transfer work. Just the windows for durations. Although it did come on early, but any motor that size should. The passion set up being about 60 CC's smaller destroys it! People dog Jim, but his stock cyl 12 port is a pretty bitchin motor. I've since tweaked it and it should be an upper 80's if not 90 hp motor this season.
  8. Few guys were upgrading the wang cranks. I'm pretty sure Andy @ No Limit Powersports and Kevin @ HJR have done quite a few. Really any one capable of rebuilding a crank can handle it for ya.
  9. ^ hahaha! Junk......
  10. I know it works. I did the cola on battery terminals when I was young but I fucking hate the mess.
  11. Wow! Old thread..... I sounded like such an idiot endorsing mikes port work. That motor was ok, but compared to the passion 4mm or even the new port work coming up from DFE that thing was a dog. Live and learn. Lakes is great for grabbing some parts or bore/hone work. But there are definitely way to many other good engine builders out there to have lakes do the port work.
  12. Both. My old man was a machinist for years before moving to production supervisor. Always taught me spin the tool as slow as you can while still pulling a good cut. As for feeding, that's different for any material and cutting speed. You just gotta watch the where you're cutting and listen to the way the machine sounds. If the removal starts to wane and the machine starts to sound crazy smooth and almost speed up, give it some more material
  13. Oh right, like that won't leave you stickier then a cheap hooker at a gang bang.
  14. The new one is EXTREMELY under rated. They are friggin stout!
  15. I know the one I see Brad Tyson toy with for fun is pretty bitchin and it is stock as fuck! At least last time I saw it.
  16. Gave up on engine ice. The Be cool stuff runs a touch cooler but it's expensive. Last time I filled up I used peak pre mixed and added the redline water wetter. That ran pretty nice and had a noticeable temp drop on the laser.
  17. ^ slow and steady saves the tool. Just keep it oiled up enough to make any Hawaiian tropic girl jealous.
  18. < Would kill ^ the first time it steps out of line. Welcome to the food chain BeAr!
  19. Those adaptors would almost make a bitchin shop tool.
  20. Black emery cake on a spiral sewn wheel. Then brown on a spiral, brown of a firm loose buff, then tripoli on a firm loose buff, then tripoli on a medium, then red rouge or whatever gay green shit the store has on medium wheel and finally rouge on a soft wheel. Finish it with master-formula Lotta work, ya. But totally worth it. People see my raw rockets and swear they are chrome.....
  21. Nothing big. It's already worked out. Thanks Cory for the response. A+ on service.
  22. Got it figured out. The initial problem was the new stator and I found an issue with the new wiring harness as well. Firing nice and quick now! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  23. Raw cases, think it could be that I used LOCTITE on the timing plate bolts?
  24. Screw on is nice, but not as doofus proof as the bolt on caps though. With that said I've pulled the plug on any TM carbs that ever cross my path due to the obnoxious bolt on top.
