  1. Any work done to the RZ transmission? Also, you can get a bit more ratio with the right at of primary gears. I'd imagine straight cut gears might be on your list.
  2. This is part of my reasoning for wanting to experiment with this type of clutch. I feel it's possible after data logging for a few seasons I can pin point where my bike is under load and starting to bog and make it slip right at that point and hopefully keep the bike on the pipe through the apex of the turn. That is where all the 4 strokes have the take off. I'm ok with buying frictions and steels by the crate to do this. I just feel making the motor automatically do the slip vs me manually doing it is an effort to make the bike more consistent and smooth.
  3. I thought I saw that photo before. WTF!
  4. Ya, 17/39. Lots of tire. Oh, and enough motor...... Can forget that. Mike that thing is fucking bitchin!
  5. No. You should not use pro design domes. 18cc domes will require lots of octane or it will spit the plugs out. Then when you find a way to keep the plugs in, it will knock a hole through your piston/s. As for the head, just about anything from a reputable source that is still currently being produced so parts are available. Also, steer clear of anything with propriatary dome styles. Those are usually a pain at the worst times.
  6. Who's covers are clearing these mike? Just any old extended 10 plate type cover?
  7. Rich folk dunes! Hell, even the side by sides out there are out running regular old duners.
  8. I'm still coming up with a little more cash. If someone has the money, don't hold anything for little ol me.
  9. For that price, yeah you can. Or at least a fairly clean bike with some good parts.
  10. How much?
  11. Sitting neglected with old fuel is just as bad as abused bikes.
  12. -2 swinger FTW
  13. Yes, do not get Pro Design shelf domes.
  14. Bought parts from him in the past while he was still doing he white knuckle thing and it was super smooth. He was willing to help with set up ideas and tuning as well. Building motors and getting back in to racing under Empire < back to kicking ass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  15. Empire is owned by the original founder of white knuckle. Great guy. He is set up and kicking ass again K&T is a totally different company
  16. Yes, they were still produced till 2012. Just not imported to the US after 2006. Barricade, there is a company called K&T and out of the many banshee builders, they are one of the few that actually has experience in the UAE. They should be your first call. I also believe twister had a UAE division but not sure if it's still going.
  17. ^ That, however it is probably better to learn on something like a hot 350 or 4mil motor. It needs to be said that it requires ALOT of knowledge to run a 10 mil. So study up, maybe buy a used set up here on HQ and put it together with fresh parts. I reccomend not buying anything totally assembled unless you know for sure where it's from, who built it, what it's built with, and how it's maintained. Lots of fresh motors from site sponsors that are documented in build threads tend to pop up. Or at least parts from them.
  18. We talking the little half moon clip? Those break down when bearings let the crank wiggle around over time. That would be the side loading surf was talking about.
  19. Literally just put together a motor on Sunday for a buddy. The Closest thing will be a full set from HotRods. It's trans bearings, trans shift drum bearing, and output collar for the sprocket side. The crank stuff, just order two MAX LOAD Bearings. It ain't gonna be no $20 bucks though. All the Hot Rods kit is pretty nice and fast has it for $100. Max loads are $30 ea. you can also use a fresh max load on the trans out put shaft.
  20. Sweet, I will PM you when I'm ready in a few weeks hopefully.
  21. No way that is legit. Gotta be someone fucking with someone else and putting their number out there. Or.... It's serious and that phone number is a burner phone.
  22. So, I'm doing that right now......
