  1. I feel like if you're not local you're definitely not a priority. Even guys who go in person are hit or miss. He just re did an old trans for my buddy's motor. Work was done correct, but definitely not in the time frame stated.
  2. Is JJ&A making moto/trail axles?
  3. Ahh, you're good.
  4. These two statements make me wonder if the motor combo is actually getting loaded up enough to start really moving heat. In theory the cheetah is supposed to be capable of really moving volume but it takes the right set up to get it moving the way it should. I've been talking with quite a few builders about cheetah design and the guys that like them all realize this the motor has a huge intake but pretty close to cub exhaust. So if it can only shit so much it can't totally use what it's trying to eat. Figure out how to get it to shit equally as much as it can eat with out letting it fall on it's face and you get a motor that runs as efficient as possible.
  5. Ok, you're on alky. What sort o timing are you giving it and what type of compression? Also, the reeds have the stuffer mod?
  6. It'll be sick
  7. There is a bottom end walk through from bigred350x he does a pretty thorough job of showing you through it. In all reality, the whole transmission is 2 chunks that just lift straight out. The rods and forks under it can stay, pull the drum though and swap the needle roller. You can do as little as take it all apart and clean it and re assemble it with fresh seals, or you can go through every single ear, clip, polish forks and rods, weld the crank, change bearings, etc. How far do you wanna go? Basically if you just want it back together and maybe put some bolt on parts then keep it simple. If you know the motor will eventually get pretty wild, do the trans and anything you can afford.
  8. Everyone? Haha
  9. Agreed. those are really made for hauling ass across the desert so the weight is nice for stability. I think the one Lew Jr did was just fucking nasty when it was tube steel arms. Been coming up with a game plan for a new chassis and I'd been finding all kinds of sweet shit.
  10. Look for the build thread from lifted T4R. His bike was bitchin. Unfortunately there aren't any companies readily producing high clearance XC arms for a banshee. Most everything is +2 with. So he two options are start fabricating, or pay someone to fabricate. Otherwise you kinda have to deal with a 48" bike. Definitely do long travel regardless for any build though if it's affordable. You can try different off set wheels to get your width to 47. Especially I your shocks are up high with the clearance you'll need for XC.
  11. Nothing wrong with that amount of play. That won't make excessive noise. That basket and inner hub look chattered to fuck though. The itch creep on you at all? Also check the kicker gear behind the basket. Also look to see if the primary gears are the same lash group.
  12. Yes. If the motor held with 6 stockers before, you can run them as well now.
  13. ^ going to be cheated on with grizzly bear.......
  14. Are they from the exact manufacturer. I figured they were they same style, never had one side by side. I've ordered lots from Jeff, but driveline is right here so they get my clutch business.
  15. As long as there's enough brain to recognize that and make the money to compensate........
  16. Wakey wakey baby........ BRAAAAP.
  17. Just scope some of this stuff out. Friggin cool. http://kendallrace.com/tech/trophy%20quads.php
  18. Ahh high school.... Dune cat is hot for making you look like a doofus...... Wait, dune cat doesn't have a mullet and mustache does she. Cuz I can work with a mullet but mustaches..... Not so much.
  19. You have a 535?
  20. Is this a pretty stock bike or is the motor pretty done up. If it's a build that has ran fine for a while and is now acting up, try adjustment per the clymer manual. If everything is good it should buy ya a bit more life. However if it is beyond adjustment and just glazed to hell, it's time for a new clutch. Drain fluids to pull the cover off. Inspect the whole clutch pack, basket, inner hub, outer plate, bronze bushing in the basket gear, etc. Every thing befor ordering any parts. Get it through driveline or fast.
