  1. Bag o rice fo yo stator!
  2. Why? He already says his current set up is a 10mm super cub. Why would you tell the guy who wants to go bigger to put a lil ol 421 kitty cub together? That would be a step backward IMO.
  3. GRR is pricy, but Andy is every bit as capable as Arlen. I saw on LED's you tube channel that he has been making pipes for flat trackers like me. I may have him do the pipes on my Banshee-R chassis. Should probably wait till the cheetah is done though.
  4. To be honest, you might have to search through a bunch of threads here about it. Or even Atvdragracer. There are a few ways guys are doing it.
  5. seen ALOT of different domes from passion..... I first put my 12 port together and it just went flat up top. Called Jim and had him turn another set for the same motor just asking for less compression. Totally different profiles and width on the band. Ran pretty good. After I figured out the issues with the wicked torque head parts availability, I had Doc Fang do a chariot super duty head and it is just retarted. Actually runs way better with much less timing and less compression. Yet still has the torque that usually comes with compression. Now it grunts and revs out hard.
  6. So, the 97 hp set up with D&M domes detonated? And your current set up posted in the cheetah thread is with Titan domes, not shearer's?
  7. 392's can haul!

  9. It helps the sponsors know their advertising is working and keeps their presence around.
  10. Nice, they put a couple pieces of bling and some FMF's!
  11. I'm coming to watch.Aren't you out of the doc fang stable in the sled world?
  12. You could definitely use one. Is it a drag bike? Or a fun Duner/open trail kinda riding? If it's a drag bike, run a finger style with an over ride. If it's more of a dune open play bike, definitely some sort of pro mod trans and a sling shot.
  13. To use a lock up you will definitely want tranny work. Not so much if you use it the way I do on lower power trail bikes, but for anything making 65+ you will want some type of stock cut of some sort at a minimum. Doesn't have to be an over ride. As for shifting it at WFO, when else do you see big lock up drag bikes shift? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  14. Regular ol finger style Sling shot http://www.drivelineperformance.com/servlet/the-21/YAMAHA-BANSHEE-LOCK-dsh-UP-CLUTCH/Detail Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  15. It's pretty statistically proven that MOST not all thieves are lazy. So lazy in fact, that they would rather roll your banshee out of the garage and sell it for half of what it's worth rather then motivate and make some real cash by working. Thieves who are methodical and calculated are a rare breed. Those are the ones you need to worry about as they will pick a specific target for a reason and usually they'll get it at any cost. It's usually higher dollar stuff. Like when someone has keys made for your vin of your truck so they can roll off with your f250 and 3 dune bikes in a new 26' foot trailer.
  16. My new frame is gonna be honda...... It's not that bad. Fast is fast. It's just cooler when you have 2 cylinders.
  17. CT's bigger inframe? Take photos so you see them other then from the belly.
  18. Quick connect from tank to pump line. Pull from tank put on purge can. Pulls it quicker.
  19. Between the A&S logo, downward nipple, and the drilled main I'd bet those are definitely alky pump style carbs. If you want regular carbs, sell or trade those.
  20. Cases need to be a matched set! I don't care what the guy on ebay says!
  21. I was gonna make a joke about all the weird shit Arlen could port, but they all seemed to involve him doing weird thing with his tool. Any way..... YES. Arlen could hook your serval up. He has been doing a lot with CP cylinders. I've yet to see what his servals are doing, but the puma 250r and 7mm stock cyl banshee I rode were disgusting! Redline has been doing the best servals I've seen posted to date though. I've seen servals with higher peak, but they were ported to near cub durations and no longer quite as torquey. Cam is has managed to get a gain from top to bottom. Un heard of years ago, but with modern cylinder design and R&D talent, these banshees are getting exponentially more bad ass every season.
  22. No! I'm not saying hat is for sure a wang crank, but it looks like one. Ask him where the rods are from and who assembled them. Also, never deal with ray unless you can go in person and get your stuff.
  23. Pull the clutch cover. Work the shift lever and watch what's happening. If everything looks kosher, then you'll have to split the cases and probably find trashed forks.
  24. GOOD crank? That'll be 4-450. I've got my last one for 425 from fast. Cody welded it and pressed the max loads on at that price. The bearings I had to pay for but he did the press for nothing. Most certainly you could have your stock stuff done by Arlen at LED. Arlen = bad ass
