  1. You could be extremely happy with a solid "dune" type stock cyl set up. Even on pump gas it's posible to have torque and 80HP. Of course they won't lug like big huge aftermarket cylinders would, but guys are doing pretty bitchin' stuff with the stock cylinders. Take a peek at the dyno section. Lotta folks with stout 4mm motors.
  2. When it's made in a bath tub, you shoot it like heroin..... Eww!
  3. Back in July I broke my ankle, tib & fib. I've been tryin to ride since the end of November, but I am still having trouble shifting. In the last week or so I've begged, borrowed, or stole just about every shifter I can think of. (Cascade, Pro Design, Tusk, stocker as far up as possible, magnum, hand full of Billit boss type from random ebay sellers) I just decided it's time to make something I can manipulate with my junk ass foot. I've googled till my eyes burn, but I have only seen a couple quality custom shifters. Most stuff I've seen is cobbled bent stockers. Anybody have any thing hand built or modified an existing stocker?
  4. http://m.ebay.com/itm/200787939470?nav=SEARCH Hmmmm, 4 stroke huh?
  5. That's pretty sweet. Fits under stock stuff too. Almost looks like a dirt bike tank. Who made that?
  6. This is caused when the bike is rich condition and or needing different jets in the PV. The cheetah uses Keihin hex jets for adjustment. The motor draws excessive fuel and begins tryig to light it with null result. In turn the bike begins to make heat and then is quenched, over and over at part throttle. This creates I constantly changing exhaust pressure which pulsates the PV. Now add that the valve it self is floating and the two issues become a compounding problem when tuning. I've only recently got to fiddle with a cheetah, putting a larger jet in the valve could aid in that, but ultimately it would be coming on later. This could allow you to eliminate a goofy variable while you jet. Once dialed in go back to the smaller jet in the PV. There is nothing wrong with the porting from CP Ind. cleaned up, and they have a lot of potential. As long as someone doesn't use the trinity domes or let them port the thing, it should be good. Now that Harry is back to just the small shop, anybody know how the cheetah parts supply is flowing?
  7. Ultimately the valves are the way to get it to have bottom-mid. Otherwise that thing has to be in the rev to come alive and it can be a goofy feeling getting it there. Any timing in it? To be honest, the 180 main sounds a bit rich to me as well.
  8. Here's a couple results on a quick search. I know Autometer is supposed to be doing some gps stuff now as well. http://www.speedhut.com/gauges/GPS-speedometers http://www.explosivepowersports.com/white-premier-gps-speedo-781-625-120p/?gclid=Cj0KEQiA5K-kBRDZ9r71gOvlxOMBEiQAwkK52AuNMXE14LAC6l4K0hff8rmKWvEtTysK0xgHxG4jLuwaAvL_8P8HAQ
  9. Not off hand, but I've seen that stuff at the marine shops around here.
  10. Decent read about clutch stuff, quick mention about ATF. http://thexscafedotcom.wordpress.com/2011/01/08/22/
  11. Yeah, can't get taptalk to post the image I have but if you look on sudco's site they have detailed images for your carbs.
  12. I've got death threats doing that shit.
  13. So wait, stock cyls or stock Un touched cheetah? Also, don't depend on the pyrometer egt's to much until you know you have a good tune up from plugs then take readings. Your location can change temps drastically. So in a sense you have rouse it to look for melt down temps, but you can't really tune off it till you have the baseline.
  14. Any idea what jets are in the carbs? Typically a pop is lean.
  15. Good stuff man. Makin it look easy!
  16. Did you make any other changes or modifications?
  17. ^ agreed. ATF is fine if it's quality stuff. Especially something like a high performance Amsoil or royal purple. The regular ol cheap stuff needs changing much more if you're gonna keep the clutch stuff in good shape though.
  18. Bitchin stuff from good fellas.
  19. Exactley, if someone is to lazy to even clean their shit to sell it, imagine how little they take care of their junk.
  20. The two types of pipes aren't even in the same class though. That's like dynoing shearers against the PT mids. Any result is nonsense.
  21. That should be fun. You'll be bald and really really angry ALOT! But at least even if it grenades it'll be a killer ride.
  22. That is a clean ride though. To bad that guy is a moron.
  23. Ya don't say. Motion pro FTW!
  24. And.....? It allows me to maximize my scooby dooby doo time since I don't need to get up and use the restroom.
  25. Hmmm, thanks for the curves CI.
