Seems like 2 stroke oil because I use bel Ray gear saver in trans and it's not red. Il get pics tonight

I have cleaned it and it seems like it's dripping from the front three 12 mm bolts vertical into the case. These bolts have little orings on them as well. I will let it sit and it make a puddle the size of a nickle.

I know this has already probably been covered so thanks in advance I notice my banshee leaks oil off of the front few bolts on the bottom of the case going up ward with little rubber seals. How do I stop it? I've tightened What do these bolts do exactly? Thanks in advance

Okay guys just was alittle curious. I bought an 87 banshee and it has pwk 35s fmf reeds. Pro design cool head. 23 cc domes i think. Pingle petcock. Is having these bigger carbs costing me power because my bike is lightly built? Would stock give me more power?

Flywheel keys look fine. What is the pickup spacing supposed to be? I also found out that the wire inside the plug wires was corroded and worn away. Switched carbs. Will run it later.

Does it do this because i have been kicking it alot and its filling the case up with gas? And ideas on electrical?

And its like outta my motor not the pipe. Just put new gaskets and it fits fine.

Stator looks like it prolly had water in it at some point but nothing is disconnected or broken?

Im about to insoect the stator and the electrical setup and i notice oil/gas is leaking out of the bottom of the motor. Looks like those bolts toward the front that go straight upward?

Compression is about 145 each side.hwve checked and switched plugs. Checked the reeds. IM going to look at the stator today. When i can get it running only the left size runs like shit mostly.

I just layed the plug on the head. Is that not a good enough ground?

Just kicked it 4 times ni spark. 5th and 6th times had spark. What causes intermittent spark?

Banshee all of suddent runs like shit. Compression: L 147 PSI R142 PSI. When and if i can start it, it popes and smokes bad on left cylinder. It also has a bit of oil cominf out of the left pipe. If i start it and can keep it running it will pop and soon just bog and die. Reeds are fine. What should i do? I have noticed that sometimes i check spark and it doesnt have it and sometimes it does. Also have noticed a few grips of oil leak out the bottom of motor looks to be on the three cap nuts. Any advice helps

87 banshee ran great only problem was overflowing carb. one day i went out to ride and it started and ran like crap. Smoked a bunch and popped alot. Now it is hard to start. If it starts it won't idle. Pops out of stator side and has oil in stator side pipe. Runs like garbage if I ccan start it. Used to start first kick. What could this be?

I mean it rides fine. I know my jetting needs fixed and i need to set floats in carbs. it starts easy and runs well. Just if your cruising at low rpm and get on it then it bogs alittle but if you launch (meaning 1st-6th as fast as possible) it does fine hitting the power band. The liquid in the pipe does not look or smell like belray.
