  1. "Brian Earl Spilner. What kind of name is that? Sounds like a serial killer's name."
  2. Don't bother if the crank isn't welded yet. A little compression is ok, but to be on race fuel is pretty hard on a crank.
  3. Booooo stock swinger....! Haha, just had to give ya shit. Looks great though man. You really nailed it down with that teal, turquoise, Aqua or whatever it is. Nice choice.
  4. Ru, pretty sure wang rods are y29lr
  5. You'll be happy. Andy is unorthadox, but he can do some bitchin stuff.
  6. If you're the type to always want more, just do the 4mil. But you need to do more to make a 4mil run correctly. That means a few more bucks. If you just want a simple bolt on motor, a stock stroke should suffice. But if you plan on porting already definitely do the 4mil.
  7. They rebuilt my buddies jet ski. that was about 5/6 years ago and its still kicking ass.
  8. As for the stinger ID.... Yes huge. But, his chamber design concept is similar to that of the His Suicide/rocket. I'll say this. Typically his stuff ain't all about peak. It comes on hard and fast but the rockets and suicides have a tendency to feel a bit flat up top. I finally messed with my rockets and upped the stinger diameter to see what happened. It allowed those rockets to rev like shearers. So I see where Andy is going with the larger stinger. It let's his massive chambers Get a bit more over rev. No these aren't rockets, but the principles are similar. On another note, I've tried stock style flanges on a super cub. They absolutely did not fit for me either. Then the Big bore Shearers felt a touch to easy to slip on. We just added Red RTV and all was well.
  9. Who would of guessed Toomey sold Toomey parts? I mean, really who knew....
  10. That would not be No Limits fault...
  11. There's a handful out there running well. But these guys took a lot of money without doing much R&D to be sure what applications they were ready to delve in to. I get why, but to each their own.
  12. So, I gotta Know. What ever happened to the Cheetah and Rockets? Did it just never run like it should have?
  13. The few sheets I've found from SLP's are stellar! Used to be, if you had an 80hp 4mil, it needed Searers or CPI's to do it and it did it kinda late. Not the case for the SLP's. They make the same peak hp but in an RPM range like Pro Circuit's.
  14. Near future? So they are taking credit card orders now and planning on delivering may of oh say, 2018?
  15. Have the head rechambered, not just decked. Rebuild the waterpump and clutch. Replace all bearings and seals. Go through the stator side and adjust the pick up.
  16. Not needed on stator side, but I suppose it could be one of those little things that just make a motor a bit more bullet proof.
  17. Not directly, no.
  18. Hah! I know. That's why I said testing......
  19. Here is my take. If you are more then capable, you should also be properly equipped. As for your mild measurements, if you really were capable you would know what the differences should be. That said I think you should HOLD OFF. I'm not saying don't do it, but you need to do ALOT MORE RESEARCH first. The way you asked makes me automatically think you aren't educated enough to tackle this yet. Can you grind here and there and get better then stock results? Sure. But that doesn't mean that it's the right thing to do. Figure out every term associated with port work and if you don't know what they all mean and do, you aren't ready. ("Pilot holes") Give it some time, research the subject thoroughly. Then tackle it with an open mind and expect the possibility that something will go wrong. That way there aren't any surprises.
  20. Andy had wang webs, but did a lot of rod testing to find out which ones he was comfortable with.
  21. Just so were clear..... ASV!
  22. For those 10 seconds or less...
