  1. I have not raised any of the exhaust... what would you recomend is a good amount to raise it?.. How about 1 millimeter?... I know ill have more compression without raising the exhaust but maybe I do... how much would be safe to say?
  2. I did the port myself...well... with the port templates...
  3. Ok... I know this is a sensitive subject but here it goes... I am a mechanic... new to bansheehq... this is it... I have a stock banshee... im doing this to it... stock carbs... boysen carbon fiber reeds... no boost bottle... t6 exhaust... k&n on the carbs... 64.5 bore... stock stroke... welded and trued crank by duncan racing... shift star mod... pancake bearing... new rz clutch... new bearings and seals... fresh bore... 18cc domes... I know what compression ratio to go by... fast trail port by kenoconnor... port windows have only been opened exhaust to 45mm width not height change... intake about 1 mm all around... +4 timing... any ideas??... im at el paso tx about 2500 feet sealevel... i usually run 280 jets on stock carbs.. Im open to all sugestions but amnout of cash almost... any numbers I can change?
  4. zilla is definetly not capable of doing a job like this... but thank you for the help...
  5. i wouldnt know how timing or compression would be affected... it was an honest question and maybe the wrong one... what would be wrong raising everythng 1mm... zillafreak certainly doesnt have the answers...
  6. i encourage you not to try this on your own... im a craftsman and for what i see some of you would not get this done right...
  7. I see... thanks for the support... ive done this on a blaster and got an amazing lil quad now... almost donne with my banshee... just looking for some good advice but truly found nothing but trolls here.... do not try this yourself... most of this idiots take their bike to the shop....lol
  8. You couldnt just take teh end cap off the silencers and just put a piece a screen on it and bolt it back on thats all the spark arrestor is aslong as ur not in a place where USFSApproved stamp is required
  9. Well what do you have to say in respect of KOC vids of port&polish the shees cylinders.... i have a feeling none of the negative peeps here wouldnt get anything close to wat im doing... i do have scrap ones and will practise on em... if i open up everything a millimeter and jet it accordingly then i couldnt find a reason not to port...
  10. I took care of a possible short... everything fine now.... except yellow and black wires dead directly from stator... running with no problem...
