no the problem wouldn't be evident. ok, let us run throught this, first anneal the gasket- that whole heating and quenching thing. clean the gasket, i used fine grit sand paper. apply a light coat of 3-bond 1211 (tried yamabond 4, didn't work) torque the head down, for the banshee with this gasket you add 10% so 22 ft pounds. wait about 30 min and retorque. let stand for 72 hours ( 3 days) and warm her up (don't ride) let her cool and retorque, repeat. now you are ready. i replaced that gasket in mine 3 frickin times, do it this way and maybe you'll only have to do it twice. if you skipped even one thing in this procedure it will not work right.
