well if you store it standing up which i do alot you should make sure the fuel is out of the carbs and depending on how long the tank also. it will leak out.

did you check the gap between the 2 pickups there suppose to be a certain distance apart (i dont know the number off hand) all you need is a feeler guage (spelling)?
