    why are you running a dune port and a 2 into 1 carb?? imo you are choking that motor!!! hum... ran great with two carbs, runs like crap with one. I think I would go back to the two carb set up. If you want more low end, buy a 450!!!

    klotz super technaplate is designed for cold weather. hope you plan on running a pump if you are gonna run alky. you will suck the bowls dry going 2 miles with it!! only hard part with alky is getting it to start in the cold. get the either out. Also a good idea to block half the radiator so you can get some heat in the motor.

    I have seen many cubs painted black, and non of them have overheating problems. stockers are painted. :shrug:

    do you have a on off switch for the lights on the handle bars?? also gonna need the voltage regulator that mounts in the back by the cdi box
