  1. so about them pump carbs you just sold dave.
  2. increasing the timing will increase the low end power. You decide on how much advance to give it but what type of fuel you are going to run, and what octane it is. Just remember, the more timing you give it, the easier it is for it to detonate and blow up. Most guys with pump gas motors are safe with +4. if ya go to race gas you can push it to say +7 and if ya decide to go alky, I have seen it over +11 Also remember, the more timing you give it, the more bottom end power you will have, but at the sacrifice of some top end.
  3. do you have to have fuel pump carbs?? or can you just cap the fittings off that you are not using ??
  4. why not just replace your pump with this one?? then if the bike dies you know you dont have fuel pressure!! :biggrin: you gonna spray with gas or alky?? I dont have pump carbs, wounder how ya get around that one??
  5. so how does the fuel pump work?? do you just run a fuel line to it and let it dead head the fuel at the box till it needs it?? also, where do the fuel enrichment hoses go?? do you happen to have any pics of this setup on a bike?? could I install an extra shut off valve on my tank to run to the fuel pump??

  9. you running meth as the enrichment fuel?? have any problems with sticking the slides in the carbs from spraying into the air filters??
  10. http://www.everything2stroke.com/resource/banshee.php you would have to spinning that motor at almost 11000 rpm to get to your 98mph speed. hold it at that rpm for a while and let us know what happens!
  11. there was a bunch of hype about the mini billets over on planet sand, but since they where released I have not seen any good numbers or heard of any good times from them. I dont think you should have a problem.

  14. did ya happen to check and see if the drill bit was bigger than the dump tube? (where the needle passes through. Cause if the drill bit is not smaller than the dump tube and you drill the main bigger, you will not be getting anymore fuel because the dump tube is now the restriction not the main jet. Take the carb off and pull the float, get your self a drill index and see what size fits in the dump tube and get back to me.
  15. do you happen to know what the mains and dump tubes are drilled to?? also, how many turns out did ya have the power jets?
  16. who set the carbs up?? do they have power jets in them?? are you running bigger bowels? fuel pump? how far are you racing??

  20. I ground the stock nuts down till they fit! gonna have to grind a wrench down to get on the two front inner ones also!!

  23. a 40 is .098 .120 is a 31 mains and dumps are at .125 right now!! this thing loves fuel!!
