  6. stiffer rear shock helps with weight transfer and getting more power to the ground. run the bike as low as ya safely can.the lower the bike the easier it is to control threw the whoops etc
  7. sell top end and put a dm or a cheetah top end on the 14mill bottom end... intakes are way to small to support that big of a motor
  8. how far r u racing? 14/42 is not enough gear on a 421 cub. are u leaving in first or second?

  12. dont worry about bendin rules to get me in on it.... I am gonna throw shaynes stock cylinders on my play bike motor and come out with that in my chassis.... will be fun watching you guys chase a lil stock cylinder motor around lol

I set mine up so it takes like 2-3 raps of the throttle to clean the motor out..... then start with the power jets wide open, make a pass, pull the plugs and look for heat marks on the metal part of the plug above the threads.....   16. I would defiantly set it up for a second gear launch.... bike hooks harder and it doesn't blow the tires off near as easy when leaving in second. Start with like 15/44 or 15/45 and see how it leaves.... if it spins alot keep dropping the rear sprocket size till it leaves good and dont bog. make sure ya start out real fat on alky.... best advice I can give ya is take everything ya know about gas tuning and throw it out the window..... alky is a completely different animal. Do you have a pingel valve? did you gut the gas cap and drill the vent hole out bigger? gotta make sure the tank flows good or you will not be able to fill the bowls fast enough and it will suck the bowls dry and burn the motor down.
  17. problem with any kind of stock shock is it wont be valved or sprung stiff enough to work with the link less arm.... you could send a stock shock to matt scssc on here and have him redo it for ya but it will probably cost ya as much if not more than a used shaw....
  18. just unplug one plug wire an your good shayne lol what if we did a aftermarket cylinder class and a stock cylinder class..... would make it more of a duner shoot out and a drag bike shoot out...... still need to put cc limits on it though... cause i know there are a few 10mill stock cylinder bikes running around
  19. the length and the valving in the r6 shock is not gonna work well at all with a no link arm..... I would get a marvin shaw for it and have it valved for your weight, arm length etc...
  20. removing the wheelie bars and puttin the shocks back in the bikes really level the playing field.... and I have seen some damn good runnin stock cylinder bikes in the dunes.
