would like to throw a big thanks out to jeff (FAST Racing) and his family for all the hospatality this past weekend. I left michigan at 11pm friday night drove straight through to grain valley missuri to pick up two new project banshees I bought. well on my way I called jeff and asked him how far he was from were I was. come to find out I only had to go another 1.5 hrs to his place so I stopped in and checked it all out. jeff set my brother and I up in his camper for the night, took us out to dinner at a bbq place that had some asome food, and he took us around and showed us the town alittle bit. just thought I would get on here and share my experence with ya all. thanks for everything J.T. I will be up there from the 1st of july through the following week, they are not to bad on db but they do require spark aresters wich can be bought at the store on the dune entrence corner.

it was worth the drive, around here I think silver lake is about 250 aceres of rideablr dunes, out in ls there is about 1400 acres so it was worth it. Not only am I gonna make the trip to ls again, I think I am also gonna make the trip out to idaho with jeff, wich is a 26 hr trip for me.

what year bike are they off of?? bolt pattern is different on some.

mine was 200.00 powder coated orange. that was for a preped frame ready to go.

Bought a new project bike the other day and it came with some pipes that look to be t-4s, are these any good or should I ebay them and look for some t-5's ? it is gonna be a dune port play bike for my gir lfriend so it does not have to be an all out race bike but I would like to get what I can out of it.

your old chain was streached out, either buy another chain and run two master links, or do what I did when I got my 8 over arm. take a pice of string and rap it around your sprockets and then call jeff over at FAST cause e sells chain by the foot not by the number of links. you could even measure your stock chain with the added lengths and go that route. then you could send the other chain back and have one that fit. I think it was cheaper by the foot rather than the link. 785-364-5325 is the number to the man with the plan!!!! just an idea though take it or leave it.

check and make sure your carbs are insinc with one another, also try switching the plug wires and see if the porblem switches sides, but it sounds like the carbs are out.

Michigan is at sea level just to let ya know.

clearance between the top the pistion and the dome, measured on the pin sid of the pistion all the way to the cylinder wall.

well it is lookin like I will be makin the 16hr trip out there if there is gonna be this big of a turn out. should be rollin with the FAST group over on the drag strip. stop by camp and toss a few back with us if ya want to.

this is true for the front sprocket but if you change the rear it is more teeth more bottom end and if you remove teeth it is more top speed , fun part is trying to get a front and rear combo that works the best for your set up.

did you try and losen the jam nut oon the shock and back some of the tension off of the shock?? did this on my buddys bike with 450 shocks lowered it right down rides a hell of a lot better too cause the shocks are not so stiff

put it on the raptor then you can bust some a$$ and jam at the same time

worth every dime to send my stuff to jeff. I would do it. and I dont think it will be that bad to ship, I may be wrong though.

ask your builder, shearers will yeild the most top end if the porting is done right. cpis right behind them
