  1. God damn!!! What in the hell did you hit? I hope you were wearing a helmet. I think you would be better off parting it out. Just my opinion. You would probably get more money out of it that way. I dont think you're going to get $1800 out of it either way but you would probably get closer by parting it.
  2. The website is in the works. I saw what he had done a few weeks ago and I can tell you it is going to be pretty nice. He just has to find the time to finish it. Your best bet right now would be to call him or PM him. Im sure you know that he goes by FASTOYS.
  3. It is not uncommon to not have an atv title in many states. I bet if you came to Kansas to buy a used atv from a person, you will more than likely not get one. But, I do like the idea of finding who your friend got the bikes from. That way you can see who owned them before and who knows, you might get the title.
  4. I have been pulled over with the bike in the truck but they never asked about the bike. As far as a ranger goes, I have never had a problem with one. The fact that your frame is powder coated will help also. If a cop or ranger wants to see if you have a title for your bike, you are not going to carry it with you. I bet 9 out of 10 cops and rangers dont even know where to look for a VIN let alone work hard enough to find it. I wouldnt worry about it too much. The BOS would help if you ever had to go to court for it. It would be less likely that they would charge you with possesion of stolen property if you have that. But they would try to find out how your friend ended up with it. Seriously, dont worry about it. Just ride it and have fun. Does your state have a law saying that you have to title your atvs? If not, dont sweat it. If they do, just PM me on those frames!
  5. I think he charges 99 cents for the first minute and $1.50 for every minute after that!! JK Jeff, dont add any more to my bill!!! Yeah, he has alot of stuff in stock so it is really easy just to say, ok, add that on. Just ask him about my old 400ex. That was a suprise on the final total for both of us!!
  6. I live in Kansas and we are supposed to title our bikes here but its not enforced so alot of times you wont get a title. I have never been questioned about by Banshee by anybody. I have been to Idaho, Oklahoma, Kansas (of course), and I'm going to Colorado for this weekend and its never been questioned. I am going through this right now on another bike that I am buying that has no title. The best thing to do is just get a bill of sale with your name and his name and the VIN on it(even if you have to scratch the pc off in order to get it). Both of you sign and date it. This way, if you ever have a problem you can go back to that bill of sale and say this is the guy I got it from. I know he is your friend but you have to cover your ass. More than likely you will have no problems at all. The guy I bought my Banshee from has the title for it but it has never been titled. BTW - if you decide to dump those frames, let me know, I would be more than happy to "pay you for the shipping" and "dump them for you". :baseball_shifty:
  7. I know a guy who has a RM50 with training wheels for sale. It looks brand new. I dont think it has a scratch on it. He wants $600 for it. Dont know how old your boy is but its a nice bike if interested.
  8. Just for the record - I didnt meen hit it on the actual tie rod end itself. I meant hit it on the part that the tie rod end goes into. Around the edge of it. That will knock it loose.
  9. You SHOULD be able to do it the same way. With a hammer. I have heard of using a pickle fork tool to get them off but sometimes that tears the boots. Other than that I dont know what other tool there is.
  10. If you have the nuts off of the tie rod ends, just hit the steering stem with a hammer right around where the tie rod end goes into the stem. Kinda on the side around the edge. Same with the spindle side.
  11. Yeah, I was there. How you doin? I recognize your bikes.
  12. Fenders? What are you talking about. You dont need no stinking fenders!
  13. Sold axle to HQ member kpmengr. Still have a-arms $350 shipped. Also have stock airbox with lid, a good K&N and a Pro Design adapter - $30 shipped.
  14. Great communication and fast payment - thanks again. :thumb:
  15. I have a set on here for sale. If interested, leave me your email addy and I will send you pics. Make me an offer.
  16. IMO, do not go with TRG Coating. I know I have posted about this place before. I sent a bunch of stuff out to him and I paid a shit ton of money to have it all pcd, and I didnt get everything back. He ignored phone calls, messages and emails. Never have heard from him since and that was last winter. Not only that, all of my stuff came out like shit. I had a bunch of sand, or something, in the pc. I did some research and saw some people that were real happy with his stuff and that is why I sent it to him. I spent $1800 with this guy and my stuff came back beat up and looked like shit.
  17. Amen!!! Headed to Waynoka in about an hour and twenty minutes. Tick-tock, tick-tock.
