  1. Sorry guys, I cant get the pictures to post for some reason. It is the bike on my avatar. It has true fire airbrushed on it and has a big spider on the very front. If interested, PM me and I will send you the pictures.
  2. Factory plastic was blue. I race cut the fenders and had a friend do all the painting. Includes front, rear, tank shroud, and radiator shroud. I only had it on the bike for Snakehunt (3 days). I think it looks great but I mostly ride trails and I just had to be too careful. The only place it is scratched is where the seat meets the rear of the tank shroud and where the seat sits on top of the rear plastic and you dont see either one with the seat on. Asking $600.00. $700 with the stator cover and clutch cover.
  3. A friend of mine bought some off of ebay this winter. He had them sent to him in raw materials so that he could have them chromed. They look awesome!!! I would highly recommend them. They have alot of adjustments but if you dont mess with the heim joints they should already be set up for your bike. They also can be a little hard to get into the mounting tabs on the frame but they will go. Great buy for the money. Just read the directions first.
  4. Fill the coolant level first. If it still overheats, pull the radiator shroud off and check to see if the radiator fins are clogged up. Also invest in an aftermarket water pump impeller.
  5. The slides will go in backwards if you you have them in the wrong carb. Switch them around and the cutout goes to the airbox.
  6. There will be about ten of us going down thursday night. We'll be camped at Sandrat Haven next to the Ampride. Black hauler with a black 40' trailer. If you cant get a camping spot you might try to call Don at Sandrat Haven. He can usually squeeze you in somewhere.
  7. Jeff at F.A.S.T. is a hell of a motor builder and a real honest guy. He wont rip you off. He will give you exactly what you ask for. He did my motor last year and it runs flawlessly. Havnt had a problem yet. Give him a call. I know he is really busy right now but you probably wont get it done faster anywhere else. If you cant get him on the phone, make sure you leave a message and he will get back to you.
  8. Do you still have the plastic? If so, how much $$$.
  9. I went through TRG coating to have my powder coating done. I sent two frames, two sets of cases, two sets of cylinders, and some other misc parts for my Banshee. When I talked to him on the phone he told me it would be a two week turn around. I sent them out to him Nov. 13th. Two weeks went by and I heard nothing from him. I am a pretty patient person so I gave him the benifit of the doubt and waited. Finally I called him and had him send everything that was done back to me. I got those parts back at the end of Dec. He said he was waiting on the machine shop to pull the studs out of the cases before those would get done. So patiently I waited. After a few weeks I called and he would not return my phone calls or emails. I finally got my cases back a couple of weeks ago. He didnt send me any of the case studs or cylinder studs back. Once again called and called with no return calls. The frames are beat to shit with the powder coat chipped off in places and scratched. On one of the frames the headlight brackets were bent over. Everything has sand or something in the powder coat. I spent $1400.00 with this guy and I am very unhappy. I would suggest that you are very carefull and do your research before sending anything out. Try to find someone locally so that if something goes wrong you can go check it out. I looked in the forums on this site and a few people suggested TRG. I am from Kansas and sent them clear to New Jersey for him to do the work with shitty results.
