What jets to run in your carbs all depends on mods and the elevation where you are riding. Make sure that if you are going to start jetting your bike that you start with a big jet and lean it out until you are happy with it. The best way to do it would be a plug chop. I would definitly recommend that. Good luck.

I was extremely happy with my cylinders. It would run with 4mil and cub bikes all day long. Im not saying I would beat all of them but it would definitly hang with them and I did beat several. Not to mention it gives it that sleeper look. People dont expect it. I had many people that didnt believe that I had a dune/play port. I was running stock carbs to! Yeah you can get a set of cubs for $800 and they will look really nice sitting on the bench. You will have a lot more than $800 in putting cubs on your bike when instead you could pick these up, bolt them on, and you're ready to ride. This is a killer deal on a set of bad-ass cylinders. IMO :thumbsup:

I think it looks kick ass when its done but I would never try it. There are a lot of spots on the carbs that would be really hard to get to. I thought about painting mine or having them pcd so they look nice. If they were polished you would have to keep polishing them to keep them nice. Too much up keep IMO. Good luck.

My cases and my cylinders were pcd. I had no problems with them.

One of my friends bought one for his banshee and it broke within 2 weeks. Cascade took care of him and sent him another one. He lubed it really good before he put it on and he hasnt had any problems with it. He has had it on there since april. They look trick in my opinion.

Sounds legit to me! If he has all of the paper work, why discredit (I think that is a word!) him when you dont even know him? Sometimes good deals just get thrown in your lap. If you dont believe it, or dont want one, then dont post about it. If I was closer and had the extra cash laying around, I would jump all over one.

I dont think you are out of line at all on the price. I just sold mine for about the same. If you had this for sale here in a few months I would definitly be interested but Im sure it will be gone by then. Good luck on the sell!

I would try a helicoil (spelling?). I used a few of them on the valve cover of my old 400ex and it worked fine. Just keep an eye on it. That should get you through the rest of the season. I would try to find a lower case half to fix it the right way.
