  1. Uh...hello....LOL. And I'm in St. Clair Shores MI... I can drop a bike off whenever you want. I've got a stock chassis...and a VERY consistent bike. Look at my bike in my signature pic Tom... I'll send you a few as well.
  2. Lean yet fat? You should never need a 7 range plug for methanol....9s' work most of the time, if not...throw an 8 in....7 is too much.
  3. You're guaranteed a quick resell if you want to give them away...
  4. That's good turn around time for Australia and the important thing is you guys are happy. Hell...some people in the states wait months and months and the builders are in the US...
  5. I would bet your YFZ has almost the same torque as a 100HP two stroke.... And it's good to hear they have great customer satisfaction...
  6. What is your compression ratio and cranking compression? What is your squish? Ditch those plugs and get some BR9ES and gap them at .018. What are your plugs currently gapped at now? Did you do a leakdown test on the bike?
  7. I've never used their stuff on a trail bike, I know those who have on drag bikes and they aren't worth a shit... Cheaper chains and sprockets last fine where I've seen a few sidewinder chains snap despite their high "tensile strength".
  8. Man that's sick Ray...can't wait to see it in person!
  9. IMO...the most common thing to fail is the plug end caps and then the stator. You can completely remove/unplug the voltage regulator, just don't turn on your lights. That has NO effect on the ignition...it only prevent the bulbs from getting overjuiced and popping. Do you happen to have a Ricky Stator or aftermarket stator on that bike?
  10. If you spent all your time on pavement and/or had a BIG motor, I could see one of these Robinson trans being worth the loot. For the average sand/dirt drag race guy with a nominal motor, they're just not cost effective. I've heard his customer service is shit too. Don't know personally.... I look at it this way, he's the most widely known guy cutting these complete billet trannys. Everyone can sit there and bash Windows/Microsoft for their product, but at the end of the day you pay way more (MAC, etc.) or deal with what is available...
  11. Leak down test the motor. If it passes replace the stator. I've had them ohm out fine and still be bad.
  12. I use 3M Weatherstripping. It's the same as Renthal Grip Clue but you get like 10X as much for a fraction of the price. Rough up the bar. Put a dab on the end of the grip and twist it on. It's important to rotate the grip the whole time because it spreads the glue out evenly... Let it dry. I always put safety wire in the middle of the grip just because....
  13. That's good for him. For every one he sells I'd bet a standard based on a stock banshee tranny sells 100... They're not for everyone...especially at that price.
  14. The motor may not run right from one to the other. Not saying it won't run, but for the cost of domes...and the investment you'd have in a motor anyways at this stage, it should have the right domes.
  15. For the 68mm cub crowd, we're used to the Blaster dome angle. My only other question was weight...is it beefy AND heavy? Any chance someone could weigh one with just the piston and rings on it? Or...maybe I should ask Vitos.
  16. Vitos is very close to me. I'm torn between trying these out and going with the run of the mil Blaster pistons... I really don't know what to do. Bill from Vitos called me the other day...I gotta get back to him and talk about this.... We all know how the intake side of the pistons get "striped" from the intake bridge, wondering how these hold up... If anyone else has input...please share.
  17. I don't care if they sell 1,000,000 sprockets around the world...their customer service is terrible. They can't be responsible for knowing the fitment on every single application. That doesn't give them the right to treat any customer like shit. He asked the right questions, they made a mistake...refund the parts. You can't tell me a company that sells thousands of sprockets doesn't make mistakes. No aftermarket company gives you refund on the shipping back to them. That's just the nature of the biz. I'm not saying I agree with it...but that's how it is. Out of the 3 times I sent my pipes back, shipping to them was only covered once....for the same repair. atv asphalt drag racer, if your name is Ron...leave. You were clowned on here before...and obviously you haven't learned your lesson because you just joined up and changed your name. You're a first class clown. If you are NOT Ron, my sincere apologies. I know you know him if you're not...
  18. It all depends on your luck of the draw. IF they don't give a shit...which some don't, they'll waive you. If they want to be pricks, they'll turn you away...simple as that. That's why we load up the bikes in the back of the truck and drive in. They barely look then...
  19. Tom.... Any chance you'll be offering out of frame pipes?
  20. On rims with what looks to be like Honda and Yamaha bolt pattern drilled. They are used.
  21. Bearings are fine. My buddy won't even use questionable ones for someone else's crank. He does a very nice job welding them up as you can see, welds all around the pin and trues them to within .003 or less. Stock cranks are tough as nails welded properly...I'd take one over an aftermarket any day.
  22. If that posting is legit that bike was gone in less than an hour.
  23. Why are you running 530 sprockets? Oh wait...is this on the big motor? Nevermind...question answered.
  24. Ok...chalk one up for C-Guid. I owe you one now buddy...
  25. Yep...the Orings like to walk out on any head, especially when you start snaking them around. Grease, Vaseline, rtv...they all pretty much work fine.
