How long is a long run? I ran 35PWKs on mine, with a power jet...never came close to running out of gas.... I think you should put a powerjet on them, then a fuel pump....that way when you jump to alky, all you gotta do is drill the carbs...LOL. Seriously, you should be fine. Worst comes to worse, remove one of the floats in each carb....

Refilled boost bottle, radar verified over 100MPH, and...it's his first sale/auction period. Sorry...I think I'd pass unless he was willing to take all funds in person picked up....

I guess she's not getting that Escalade after all...

I never saw the 10 mil....only the 7... I'm very pleased with the deal I got my 10 for..no complaints at all!!
-
Um...Light beer. And Jeff already told me to get down to LS so he can show me how a 10 mil should run... I've got my motivation! Of course, then he said I might have a weight advantage, but when I told him I was 240 to 250, I think I heard him smile again....FBT for everyone... :yelrotflmao:

Better late to the party than never... Looks like Project Polaris needs to be getting underway soon, huh? LOL... You gonna be around next weekend? I'm gonna meet up with Hops and get those paddles, I wouldn't mind having a cold beverage or two with you guys!

I agree with the concept, not the naming. NO sense in giving them the satisfaction of using that brand name... I'll take the members, friends, and their knowledge...leave that name behind

Night, is that you? Showing your true colors.... Stick it in your tail pipe....warm the bike up, and just SUCK IT. This is tops in my opinion for the biggest fucking retard of 2007....so far. -
Good to see you Adam, a welcome addition! I've always enjoyed reading your thoughts and input on PS. Let's let it die here and now. Plenty of people are pissed at the BS pulled on PS. I'm not here to judge, but here to learn and hopefully help some fellow riders out, be it high school trail riders...or seasoned drag racing vets. I think we all can offer something, be it advice, experience or sometimes just some humor and wit. Can we leave it all at that??
-
Nope, ended up buying a brand new never run 10 mil for a good price I couldn't beat. I think you mean the guy that had the 7 mil that needed plating over on PS, right? I mulled and mulled that over...in the end, for less hassle of sending it out for plating, etc., cutting domes to run a 10 mil up in the head, a 10 mil brand new casting at the price I paid was worth it. I was very, very close to buying a pair of 10's off Jeff, but...in the end I got the best bang for my buck...

Ditto those statements...welcome Henderson Racing.

That's good to know, Jim. Quite a few of us are trying to head down to LS in March, that'll probably be the "Sand Debut" for my new 10 mil I'm building....I think we're just gonna have to stop by!!
-
Oh yeah, there is more power to be had from them. But, for my dollar right now, that all being said, I'd still get a run of the mil cub. Big Daddy, you're not dreaming....you're smoking....a LOT... :yelrotflmao:

Some more, as many as 10 main jet sizes...

Christ this topic has blown up... 60 + emails when I got home last night, 60 or so plus when I got up this morning.... jonlorio? Jim's Sand Toys...? WOW...good to see you guys over here. This site just gained some very valuable insight and knowledge... Now we just gotta get the Lewis team over here. Red didn't mean anything about the comment, hell...we have a few assholes over here too. But Jim and Jon, I think you both can agree there are certain folks we can do without...their crybaby attitudes, my shit don't stink, etc. I know drag racers are a finicky bunch...but, in the end it's for run, let's keep the drama over at PS, that's all!! You guys gotta admit, at the very least, it's nice you can type ASSHOLE and it doesn't come out <CENSORED> Ha ha ha... I think the drag section of this site is gonna swell up real soon. Now...I know this is banshee HQ...however, I wonder if Lee would have a problem having a 4 stroke forum in the off topic, etc. I know 1 forum can't be the do all, see all...however, many banshee drag/dune riders also have a 4 stroke...and I think most here would welcome that idea with open arms. Good to see you boys over here, welcome to the dark side!!!!

that's it...you're getting hit with the ban stick....LOL...

Try http://imageshack.us Upload a pic, copy and paste the link into the forum reply. I'm going to do a write up soon for Lee I think on how to use two pieces, one is easy thumbnail creator, a program that takes today's LARGE megapixel camera shots and shrinks them down easily, and two how to host pics easily, quickly and for FREE without any sign up or user name/password to remember.... Here's the thing...I've talked to quite a few people today and last night. Yep, 20 a year would've been fine for PS, but...MOST IMPORTANTLY, a warning, a notification...SOMETHING saying hey...as of XX date, a paid member will be able to see all forums. Not wake up one day and POOF. Total BS.... And I really am surprised yet impressed to see some familiar names coming over to the HQ...and more than welcome. Hell with the Nazis....join the revolution!!!

You don't need a +4 with a bolt on motor. I'd be leary of back yard hack cut and weld jobs on the stock swinger...make sure the welds are of good, clean quality... If you have a few extra duckets, I'd almost get an aftermarket swinger with a round house carrier design....the stock banshee carrier/chain adjustments is possibly one of the worst there are!
-
He probably means straight cut basket/crank gears. The gears that go onto the back of your clutch basket and crank are straight cut instead of angled cut...like this: http://webforce.nwrain.net/founder/cascade...ORE_DEPT_ID=339

If you lived closer to me we would become best friends...

Exactly. For those that ride in warm climates year round, on GAS, it would be a waste. But...for us northern boys and girls that like to throw snow as well as dirt and sand, they're nice to be able to richen up the jetting with a simple turn, and not only richen up...but fine tune. Just imagine, no removing the bowls, worrying about dirt, etc. No fuel to drain/make a mess with. No GUESSING...just turn till it's right, one way or another. As said, you gotta have 'em for Methanol, no matter where you're at...year round.
-
Apparently, you don't work on your own bike very often, and have never had a set fail on you.... Too many points of failure, too much crap under the tank and in the way. Honestly, if they were so useful, the after market would be making TORS remedy or fix kits, not REMOVAL kits. Any after market carb is designed better than stock banshee carbs, so...they have no problem with sticking...what's that tell ya? Keeping them in sync has nothing to do with the electrical failures they are well known for...

That's too bad you couldn't get the alky to run right J...it sure is nice, but...it gets sucked down like no tomorrow. Your altitude no doubt had something to do with it... Good luck, free bump. -
In gas, maybe...but, it takes 3 seconds to shake the bike or the can up, why chance. In Methanol, I'd bet you the sticker price of a new shee it can and will separate!!! 87....you're good year round...no worries. I've always like Klotz and Maxima products. Not to say others don't work just fine, but...they've always worked for me....so, that's all I can go on.
