  1. There are 6 springs in your clutch...so, yeah, the kit should be all 6. Who is doing the port work? What kind of riding do you do? How much do you weigh? Normally...unless you got an all out drag ported bike, 3/3 is fine.
  2. Keep the DMCs.
  3. Go to page 6 of this thread...I posted a few pics yesterday... Shane...I think my plate is 5 or 6, and I go more with my dyna. Probably off topic, but half of my intake screws started to loosen up, gotta tighten those babies!!!
  4. Upload the image to imageshack.us Cut and paste the link into your sig.
  5. If it's not overful, crank seal normally... Is it pissing it out the back or the side by the water pump...
  6. I have faith you'll get there. I'm trying for 4.2's myself....will be happy this year with that, no wheelie bar and a fat boy on board. Nate has got that bike moving for sure. Ask Nate, but I've always run a lot of timing on my 10 mil, and my 4 mil REALLY loved a ton of timing... I'm talking 8 to 10 degrees on the plate... Just remember...make sure it has plenty of fuel before you start upping the timing!!
  7. It's 40 bucks to test and tune from 9 AM to 12noon and bracket race after. Saturday he was a bit behind, 9:30 to 12:30 was T&T. last time, it was double elim, 20 dollar buy back. This time it was single elim, there were 25 ATVs there. They run all bracket, at the end they ran a "quick 8" which was bracket PRO tree....the normal races are sportsman trees. Don...offer stands. I'm 2 hours or so East of the track, but...if you need a place to crash on the way up, way back home or inbetween....you're welcome to stay at my place. I don't want you to feel like cousin Eddy in Lampoon's vacation if your family's house is full... Three of us have very, very close races. One is a stock stroke cub, been heavily massaged by a local guru, JT's 4 mil and my 10mil...we are all very close to each other. Bigger is not always better....or at least I keep telling the old lady that...not sure if she's listening, though...LOL. Off race weekend rentals pop up. Could be a big turnout, could be small. Although the 3 times so far this year have been good turnouts. 18 to 32 bikes I'd say...makes for fun racing, on and off the track. The race event calendar can be found here: http://www.bobsfamilyraceway.com/calender.htm
  8. He he he... Bob has now initiated a random drug and alcohol test before each race because of you....LOL... J/K...

    cub cylinders

Look over on planet sand as well.
  10. Did you turn the air screw or the idle screw??
  11. Yep, obviously I'm bored at work. I'll let him borrow my 14 extremes and go get my camera... NO ONE has happened to mention Dan got the dummy award Saturday as well. NOT for his win on time vs. Brent...but... For his John Force style burnout putting him an easy 20 to 30 feet past the staging lights. JT and I about fell off our bikes laughing....we both asked each other, did he just do what I think he did? I know...no front brakes, first time out... Still, damn funny.
  12. Dan, 10 over arm. 90 plus HP, 135lb rider (give or take) I can pretty much PROMISE you they won't hook. You might as well put knobbies on....LOL. I would put the 8s on yours and your 10s on that bike. And it still won't be enough, my guess. My 4 mil had 6 over, my fat ass, and 10 paddle haulers and it hooked pretty good. Longer arm, less paddle and lighter rider? Simple math...
  13. With a 10 over cub and override, I hope you have more than the 8 paddles that are on there now, shane...especially with mini-me on it... Nice looking ride, though!!!!
  14. You're doing the right thing. I've got probably over 60 or 70 passes on my 10 mil (good passes, not the dune BS I went through) and I'm still figuring it out....
  15. Run an 8, and fix your jetting. Then learn how to ride.
  16. In all honesty... If that is a decent running motor, once you get it down you should run the same times JT and I run. Shane's times might be a struggle....but, the few HP less that bike might have will be negated by your weight... Again, if that motor AND chassis is setup right. You're going to HATE riding your bike after you ride a cub on override....trust me... I hated riding my 4 mil last year after riding JT's with alky and override at Silver Lake. Just ruined it for me!!
  17. Jim from Jim's Sand Toys is a class act, great person to deal with. Here's some pretty good pricing that I thought I'd pass along... http://www.planetsand.com/forums/ubbthread.../gonew/1#UNREAD
  18. Yeah, with a boost bottle it'll travel back to 1985....
  19. Yep...all good. Dan's gonna get all of our bikes in the 3's...remember? :yelrotflmao:
  20. Hey....if you're gonna post Jockey times, he can ride someone else's bike....
  21. Now that's funny...all you need is a flux capacitor to complete your theory, you're well on your way... 1.21 Jiggawatts??? Great Scott.
  22. Depends... Who did your porting? What do they say? Do you ride 3/4 to WOT all the time, or play around?
  23. Without a ported motor you are wasting your time. I had the same mods too, minus the shaved head...and the rockets sucked for the motor. My T5s were 10X better pipes. Get a drag pipe when you get a drag motor...or a dune pipe when you get dune ported motor. And when it's all said and done, CPI or Shearer will be a better choice. CPI for duning, Shearer for more drag racing....
  24. Oh...let's see. Ride the 18th and 25th...yeah, I think I could do that. I'd rather not start at 9AM Roger....that's just too damn early for me. I liked the 11 to 3 last time. I'm down with the test and tune...guess it's time to "start spreading the news...." Shane...less than an hour from Lapeer...give or take on traffic.
  25. Don't blame you, and Shane is closer. However.... For me, as well as most of the guys we now hit the track with, most of them are either close to me (Metro-Detroit) or are west siders, brighton, Lansing...and one of us is 10 minutes from Bob's...hint hint. For me it just simply boils down to I have FUN at Bob's. It might be because I've been there a gazillion times last year and this one, but...I just keep meeting more and more people every time I go... If it's not hamming it up with Redlight Racing, it's sitting back and BSing after the races are done... Plus...traffic to Albright is gonna be bad for a while, 75 is tore all to holy hell...especially back. It was down to 1 lane on a Friday afternoon...and they're doing a strip and re-asphalt... My cameragirl is coming with me the 25th....should be another good time. I just hope we have another good turnout despite being the weekend before the holiday, I'd think if anything...that's a last chance tuneup for Labor Day!!!
