I go to PS for two reasons. 1. My friends there 2. The wealth of knowledge for us drag racers from the good shops with reputable sales and tactics, as well as the members themselves. TNT...you are neither to me, nor is Charlie. Did anyone make you become a mod? Do you do it out of the kindness of your own heart and of your free will? Yes. So if you don't like doing the job that you agreed to, then don't. I'm pretty sure you could be relieved of your mod duties if it is so overwhelming. I don't swear, I post my opinion. I try to be as absolutely politically correct as I can be. I do not bash other members, builders, etc. I try to post facts as best they're known to me. And I try to paint an overall picture that is fair and unbiased for all. Yet...you still find a way to delete it. And when I say you, I don't neccessarily meant YOU TNT, I"m talking about the mod staff in general, possibly the site admin him/herself. What I think is really funny is if you type bansheehq on PS, it gets censored, but you can type Planet Sand all day long on HQ... Who's worried about who?

You removed the TORS, did you remove the tops? Install the screws. And remove the airbox/air filter. You need to make sure the slides aren't stuck up in the carb. Drill and tap the carbs if you removed the Tors tops and replaced them with the caps. Do NOT overtighten the replacement caps, just a gentle snug, then use the bracket to hold them in place.

Since he's a mod, I'm sure he didn't have to pay a dime to use all the features. He may have donated, but he wasn't forced to pay anything to use all the features that we will. That's a fact.

Funny thing is, there are plenty of site sponsors that don't agree with what is going on there, but like usual, they fear the backlash from speaking out....and they know once something bad is posted about the site or Charlie, it'll just get deleted like usual.... That's sad if you ask me. I understand if there's cussing, etc, fine. But if you mention another site on theirs, it gets deleted. If you question the owner of the site, locked or deleted. While I sure wouldn't go mudding on a banshee...put me on a BIG ass 4X4 with running boards and racks and I'll have just as much fun going down the strip as I would go mudding on a 4 by. Different strokes....

Texas...the last I checked, the banshee was sold as an open class machine. I always see a Banshee Literature on the dunes...or open riding area. It is one of the worst MX machines out of the box, period. I'd take a box stock 400EX before I took a banshee for MX. Sure, you can make it a good MX machine, you could also turn a Viper into a grocery getter with enough time and effort... Aside from that, I am with you 100%. More people use their banshees for general riding than strict drag racing. It's an addiction and progression....the smart people know when to stop. The others, like myself, just get sucked in and it will never end....LOL. I often make the mistake of looking at thing from a drag racing point of view instead of Joe Trail rider...however, usually I'm called out on it and I get reeled back in pretty easily....USUALLY.... For people such as myself, there is and always has been a wealth of information that is not found, yet, on HQ. Several top builders have tested the HQ waters when this type of Pay Service was tried before. Again, not to the same extent as last time...but I'm hoping it brings a wealth of good builders and good folks to our site. You'd be surprised what drag racers have to offer other than just racing knowledge. No one jumped on an alky bike and just went, it's a progression. That progression is knowledge and experience we can all benefit from. I just hope if they come over, it's to stay...not leave when PS becomes 100% free again...and it will.

Not everytime. I've had mine adjusted perfectly with NO lockup, all new basket, inner and outer, and it would still creep a little if you rev'd it up good. What mods do you have done to your bike. Unless you have a ported bike pushing some HP, all 6 HD springs are overkill. You should look into a new clutch cable if yours is a few years old, you'd be amazed how nice the pull can be with a new cable. Also, an EZ Pull lever/perch makes it a lot easier to pull, as well.

You don't want to just put longer shocks on to raise it...that will effect the geometry of the suspension. However, if you're a heavier guy, such as myself, you can have aftermarket shocks (which...you're gonna want with wider arms) revalved and resprung so it doesn't drop so much when you get on the bike... Who cares what you look like riding it...as long as you're in front...LOL. Taller bars will make it much more comfy for you to ride. See if you can find a taller steering stem, or have one made to your comfort level.

I understand their move, I think it was overkill. How many users click without reading what they're actually doing to their computer. Since I work in the IT industry, I can tell you. LOTS OF THEM. Good idea, bad in practice and production.

There is a premium off topic section here, as well as you have to be a registered member to use the video and image section, I believe. It may only be the Video section.... I know I'm going to pony up the cash to use search and PMs, I would have rather been asked rather than told, that's all I'm saying. I've never been asked for a dime from the HQ. I buy a yearly because Lee isn't a money hungry slob....and I've always considered this my home. Even though I'm on PS more and more because of the level of drag racing I do...I still like the tone and attitude of this board better.

I have one that looks like some hit stump...and stopped dead in their tracks. It has a flap ripped down about 3 or 4 inches wide by about 1 inch deep which can be cut off. It's yours for actual shipping and 5 bucks.....I can take a pic if you want.
