  1. In the next month or so, I'll be getting back some chromed stock shifters if you're interested...probably be charging 30 to 35 each shipped..depending on what my chromer hits me for them.
  2. Ok...find out what size jets you have....why buy ignition parts if it's a simple few bucks for new brass? Don't get me wrong..it still could be...but do the quick, easy stuff first. Try this, gap your plugs down to .018. If it gets better, that's a good sign the ignition is getting weak spark. If it doesn't make a difference, I'd lean more towards jetting. Aftermarket jetting is like saying aftermarket rims. Still need to know exactly what size.
  3. Yeah Kaos, you should've seen them before Dan wrapped them around the tree...they were stock width and length... LOL... Just kidding...
  4. My man...is there any way you can shrink that sig pic? Gorgeous bike...but does it have to take up the whole screen, even on my 19' LCD monitor?? Thanks....
  5. Call Magic Racing in Shelby Twp. MI...tell them what kind of silencers you have. What you'll probably need to do is measure your silencer in two spots. I know hey are oval. Measure OD from top to bottom, and OD from side to side. They will get you what will fit.
  6. 69 to 80 bucks for each. You don't need a voucher on non-busy weekends. You need a start park pass as well, I think they're 6 for a day, or 20 or 24 for a year. Need a state park pass for your vehicle (truck) AND bike, and if you plan on driving your truck/vehicle in the dunes, you need an ORV for that as well.
  7. Every stock fuel valve I've seen has two screens in it. It looks like your screen door...but smaller. Long tube (main) and short tube (reserve) What are ALL of your mods, your riding temps, your weight, altitude...and ALL of the current jetting in the carbs now.
  8. Go up 2 on the main to be safe, go down 1-2 once it warms up to normal riding temps. You'll be fine. I try to get my bikes one jet to two jets on the safe side, rather than the lean side.
  9. Damn...way too many threads. You're right...sorry...
  10. Glad to hear you're ok.... Yeah, I'm not big at racing at the dunes. It's ok when there's only a few bikes, but a buddy almost smoked some idiot that was too close to the strip on the return. We're talking almost a 90 MPH collision... Plus, the dunes get all whooped out, etc. I've said it before...the dunes doesn't proove who is the better rider or who has the fastest bike, it just proves who has the biggest brass ones..
  11. Not too good an idea to run it without pipes...even on a test run.
  12. That's the way I've always done it.
  13. Yep, more dicks that tits...totally not gangsta
  14. Chase, you're going to have to quit selling to this guy...he has no tolerance or does not know when to say when.... :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao:
  15. That checkered flag and the flames are fricken awesome JD... If I ever decide to get my plastics sprayed, I'll be looking you up...
  16. 700s are night and day different than the 660s... For trails, I'd still get a 450...probably a Honda over a Yamaha..only because the Honda is more torquey, whereas the YFZ is pretty high strung. I like the way they sit/ergonomics compared to a 700. But...the 700 is no joke and a fine machine.
  17. That or it ran out of fuel...
  18. I get good pricing, let me know next time...
  19. Yeah, any more info?? Might be a cool place to check out this weekend...
  20. Less than 20 full passes, 300 feet at a time...LOL.
  21. Rico Suave....I can take a pic of my ad hoc pipe mounts at home, if you like....they're hanging in my rafters...
  22. Run 8 range plugs. Go up 2 sizes on the mains...check the plugs again. Are you warming the bike up on old plugs, going for a WOT run, then pulling the clutch, holding the throttle open and coming to a stop, then removing the plugs? Are you winding out at least 5th, if not 6th gear? If you are doing it properly, bump it up two sizes, chop again...keeping in mind, once it warms up, you'll probably need to jet down a size, maybe two. You're very, very close...
  23. Are these Vito's cylinders, sleeved stockers, just the sleeves?? You got pics you can post?
  24. I use stock front pipe hangers, angle them as neccesary. On my CPIs, they stick out quite a bit...so, I measured the gap, cut a piece of copper tubing, put a washer on either end, long bolt and lock nut. Rubber is key...it's gotta have flex.
  25. No one makes a good, cheap, reliable CDI box. Use the stocker...unless you want to shell out the extra coin for a Dyna or MSD. get a plate for 35, set it at what your builder/porter recommends for your riding type. I wouldn't give Trinity or Duncan a dime to port my motor....
